We hired Jakub and his crew to deliver a perfect basement floor. Fit for light grinding but not too much granular showing through. We also wanted a lighter oatmealy colour to the floor once polished. Jakub and his crew were attentive to our needs, prepared the space to receive a slab cleanly, and set up the concrete pour using specs to suit the request. Jakub spent the better part of a full day working the floor to get it perfect. And even before grinding and polishing the floor looks great. It will allow for a really beautiful basement finish. Great job.

I have already posted this review elsewhere, but we are so satisfied with the job and this company’s professionalism that I am compelled to post it here too, and anywhere else I can think of.
Jakob and his crew were outstanding professionals who were meticulous, and did a wonderful job of underpinning our foundation and lowering our basement floor. They worked collaboratively with several other trades to ensure a seamless experience. We were provided with excellent communication which gave us great confidence. Long and short, we would highly recommend them!

We hired Jakub and Inside Guys to underpin and lower our basement. Our entire house was being renovated. Our house was built in 1880's with 18 inch stone/rubble construction walls. The basement was small, dark and wet. This was no easy task. They were on time an on budget. No hidden costs or last minute increases, no surprises. They were on site daily until the job was done. Their clean up was great. They lowered the basement, enlarged window casings and waterproofed. I wish the other trades were as professional. I would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to a friend.

I hired Jacob a second time — after his crew had waterproofed, brilliantly, the back of our house. The second job was a small parging task, and it’s a testament to Jacob’s customer service that he took on the job, despite its small size, and once again did a great job.

We can’t say enough good things about our experience with the Inside Guys. Jakub is a pleasure to work with and it is obvious he cares deeply about his craft. He communicated what to expect each day, was always available for questions, and stuck to his timelines. He went above and beyond arranging sub contractors and services as needed and worked with our finishing contractors to ensure placement of plumbing rough-ins, etc. was satisfactory for our upcoming construction. Every member of the crew was friendly and courteous to us and the neighbours- we had many positive comments. Their attention to detail and cleanliness was very much appreciated- every day they left the house very tidy both inside and out. The job was done before the estimated deadline and within scope. Absolutely would recommend the Inside Guys to anyone looking to underpin!

If you want white glove service for underpinning, you found it. Jakub and his crew are FANTASTIC. They were efficient, friendly and super, super clean (they ensured that my house was swept every DAY). Jakub is incredibly responsive, solutions-oriented, extremely helpful (providing ancillary services that weren't in his scope), easy to work with, provided regular updates, and honest. Inside Guys did a great job on lowering our homes basement, opening walls and expanding the basement length. They started the process at the end of January 2021 and we’re finished by mid March! We went from a 5ft headroom to a little over 8ft, which is remarkable. The team was very clean and professional. I highly recommend them to work on your home! Great job Milton and team.

We had an issue with the foundation of an addition to our home settling over time. This caused us a lot of stress and the process of getting quotes and finding the right person to fix it was just as stressful. We feel so lucky that we found Jakub and Inside Guys Underpinning and that we picked them to do the work. Jakub is extremely customer service oriented and explained the process in advance, stuck to the timeline and made sure throughout that we were happy with the process and results. His team kept the work site extremely clean and was very careful to minimize any damage or disruption to the surrounding area. Both Jakub and his team were very polite and had great communication. My husband and I was fortunate enough to work with Jakub and his entire team when the City of Toronto informed us we needed to underpin our basement in order to add a second story to our home.
