I booked Otto from The Hot and Cool Guys through Jiffy to fix my A/C unit during a heatwave. He made himself available the next day, was communicative & professional, arrived with all necessary parts for the repair & had everything fixed in 15 minutes. He was exceptionally friendly & answered any questions I had. He will be my first call for my next HVAC issue! True professional!

Otto was amazing. Responsive, fair prices and really took the time to understand the root cause of the problem instead of just getting in and out. He’s my go to guy now for any problems with my furnace. Highly highly recommended!

We had a humidifier in our home that wasn't doing the job, so we bought an Aprilaire replacement online. We called the HVAC guy we'd used in the past but he said he didn't like installing that type, and refused to come. I searched Homestars, put out requests to 4 companies. Two said they install only their own units. The third said they could do it two weeks later.
Otto from The Hot and Cool Guys was my fourth call. He asked for photos of the new unit, and said he'd come by that very evening. He come by exactly when he said he would, he was personable and respectful, and offered a second opinion about our old unit. Our replacement kit was missing parts, so he said he'd collect the components and return two days later to install. Two days later, he came back and completed the install efficiently. He showed me how he'd patched up the holes from the previous unit, told me why he'd selected a different position for the new one, showed me the new setup and how to work it, explained maintenance, and even pointed out problem areas that I should monitor on my furnace.
I am very happy with the service we got from The Hot and Cool Guys, and we'll definitely call Otto again when we have any heating or cooling issues.

I hired Otto at The Hot & Cool Guys to replace my humidifier and to service my furnace. He was highly communicative and answered all of my questions, prior to booking the job. Otto arrived on time for our appointment, and he was a pleasure to work with (thanks for wearing shoe booties, without me having to ask!). He explained everything that he was going to do, and he walked me through all the steps of what I would need to do to ensure my new humidifier operates properly. Otto is a consumate professional. Timely, knowledgeable, informative, skilled service. Otto informed me of a potentially dangerous situation of which I was unaware, resolved the issue and gave future avoidance info.
Will definitely use this company again and gladly recommend.

Another emergency, leaking humidifier water connection. Minor flood ensued. Otto came quickly, replaced the unit with a more stable one, no mess, completed in less than a half hour. Big relief, once again hot/cool guy to the rescue. Thank you Otto!

Excellent company, reasonably priced service much better than the competitor I used last year. Otto is a great guy and knows his stuff, he diagnosed the problem within minutes and completed the repair when the part cane in. Most importantly Otto is trustworthy and will look out for your best interest. Definitely would recommend!

My drain was plugged in my A/C. He came to my home that day, was very courteous and respectful and had it fixed in no time.
