BUY ANYWHERE ELSE! AVOID CANADIAN APPLIANCE SOURCE!

********DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CANADIAN APPLIANCE SOURCE********. PURCHASE ANYWHERE ELSE!
Save yourself misery, frustration and the WORST customer service imaginable!!!! There is actually NO customer service - which presumably is why they call that department simply "After Sales", which means avoiding taking any responsibility for their misdeeds and mistakes and offering no ordinary customer service whatsoever! Even when they've caused $3500 (and counting) in damage to your home.

They improperly installed our LG laundry tower, causing over $3500 in property damage. Additionally, the washing machine they sent to us is broken and leaks! We have a destroyed laundry room and likely mould growing behind the walls because they haven't addressed the problem and it's been three weeks, a washing machine that is broken since it came through our door (we immediately reported the problem and sent photos), and absolutely NO ASSISTANCE AT ALL FROM CAS!!

It is stated on all communication from CAS:
"It is our goal to deliver damage free product every time, appliances are not unboxed until the team arrives at the delivery location.

Should minor damage to the appliances be discovered when the item is unboxed or after the team leaves, you have 48 hours in which to seek compensation or repair.

If the damage is being reported post 48 hours, please contact the manufacturer of the appliance."

We notified CAS of the damaged product within hours of delivery. We sent photos of the leak and requested a replacement machine be sent immediately. CAS will not live up to their promise and we still have the leaking machine!

While we awaited a response on our immediate notification to CAS of the damaged machine, it was noticed that despite the appliance being powered off, a significant amount of water continued to accumulate on our laundry room floor. We turned off the water supply at the main water shutoff and notified CAS of the problem. The water continued to accumulate and it was discovered that the drywall was ballooning out below the hose connection on the wall! We took photos and immediately notified CAS of the problem and again asked that they send a crew to deal with the water leak that was caused by installers, repair the damage, and once again DELIVER A REPLACEMENT APPLIANCE.

CAS sent a technician to inspect the installation, which he found to have been improper and the cause of the flood. He also found that the steam hose that was installed leaked! He returned on another day and replaced it. CAS has done nothing to fix the problem - we are left wth $3500 in property damage (possibly more if it is found that mould has begun to grow) and a broken washing machine that leaks!

So really, it was an impressive trifecta of failures by CAS, for which they will offer no remedy to us:
1) Improper installation
2) installation of defective steam hose
3) delivery of a damaged/faulty appliance

So in addition to the days off work we've already had to arrange in order to try to remedy the disaster CAS has sent to us, further days will need to be taken off work in order to be home for:
-an LG technician to come and inspect the broken washing machine
-an LG technician to come and repair the machine, and if not repairable, to have a replacement machine delivered (you can be sure that CAS will avoid having to provide this to us!)
-the restoration company we've had to hire to come and begin removing the damaged wall and flooring, then put blowers and scrubbers in to dry out the walls and prevent mould from spreading to the rest of the residence, then repair the walls and floors.

All the while, CAS has done nothing but take our money, deliver a nightmare to us, and shrug and pass the buck on to someone else. It's now nearly 3 weeks since the delivery date and CAS has ignored the problems they've created.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Save yourself the headache and heartache and purchase elsewhere.

Consider your Options very carefully

We purchased five kitchen appliances from CAS Mississauga paying in full June 2022. At that time, delivery of the Bosch dishwasher was unknown but our salesperson assured us she would take care of us. Our original schedule was for August; we had to fire our GC (that is another story/review) and ultimately pushed delivery to first week of December. In late September, the CAS 'system' notified me that the dishwashers were in. I reached out by email to our salesperson to see if everything was on track for first week of December. She did not respond.
By November, I received another notice saying the dishwasher was on back order to February 2023. We went in to see the sales person and at that point we learned what we should have known before but were not told previously:
1. 9 days. They only guarantee delivery of stock if they have the item 9 days max from when you buy it and when they have it on hand. So, we should have taken delivery of the dishwasher in September. NB: I had asked our salesperson about this and she did not respond. She now claims she has 'screen shots' of emails from me saying I did not want to do that. I do not believe her and cannot find any such correspondence (she has not provided it either).
2. Pay extra delivery charges to get your appliances when or before you need them. We now face the likelihood of having no dishwasher for a year or more.
3. The only promise CAS makes on their website with respect to Customer Service is "Our dedicated staff of knowledgeable, friendly sales professionals will treat you like one of the family". Tells you what kind of family relations, right?
4. Dishwasher substitution- they offered us a 'better' model for 'lowest price'- regular price $2249 they offered it to us for $1899. We went home and researched to find it was not a better model, and happened to be on sale at CAS already for $1949. So their offer of restitution for the difficulty this has caused us is all of $50. Wow.
5. Our invoice alternately included Shipping & Delivery charges, and then did not. We paid the same amount of money so not sure why these keep coming and going. No one will explain what that is supposed to cover.
6. The 'system' where you book delivery does not let you set a date. Not sure why. These people kept calling me right after I entered the date in the system. They also asked whether this was a New Home or Renovation. Why should that matter?

Bottom line- CAS has 412 complaints on the Better Business Bureau in the last 3 years, We have no choice but to finish off our deal since we literally have no kitchen. Once they get your money, you will be up the creek.

UPDATE NOV 23, 2022- I think our salesperson has taken our comments to heart. She has upped her game and is managing our order significantly more than before. Our delivery for 5 items is set for Saturday and we will see how that goes but things are definitely better. My suggestion holds though- make sure you tell your sales person your expectations for them in managing delivery and understand the 9 days thing- it will save you both a lot of difficulty.
