Step To Door Ltd.

We started searching the market for a staircase contractor who would revamp our OK looking staircase. The plan was to remove the nosing's and landing's old carpet, to install custom wooden nosing and landing, to match the colours of upstairs' floring, to replace all balusters and posts and at the end to repaint the steps front planks and the staircase's sides. As we considered the steps to be in ok shape the plan was to keep them as they were. The Step to Door's email response came pleasantly fast and we arranged for an estimate and a quote. Someone came to talk the details and gave us some ideas on the planned work. Due to the need to match the new nosing's/landing's colour to the existing floring colour upstairs it was decided to restain the steps as well. It added extra 30 percent cost to the project but from today's perspective that was the best for us thing to do. I can say the Step to Door handled the work and the various challenges very well and we're extremely pleased with the result. The duration, quality of craftsmanship, the new materials as well the communication were all great. The installers were courteous and dedicated and the work was done quite fast. Thanks, Recommended!
