Hot water stopped flowing and the fan on the hot water tank made erratic noises. Minutes after submitting a service request through HomeStars I received a call from Mac and was able to schedule an appointment a few hours after. He immediately diagnosed the issue as a fresh air intake blockage. Sure enough after checking the outside pipes we found that it was frosted which restricted the airflow to the hot water tank. After clearing the blockage he suggested minor modifications to the piping to prevent future frosting. Mac was professional, knowledgeable and expedient.
