Alan, was professional and did the job right. He was attentive responsive and very helpful throughout the whole reno process. We did a whole main floor renovation with him with included redoing the main bathroom, the kitchen, and adding a new powder room. He kept us updated throughout the whole process and was happy to show and keep me posted on the daily progress of the project. His quoted price for the project was on target and we only exceeded his initial quote because we added to the project scope along the way. He also was on target with his timelines as he quoted two months to completion and delivered as promised on time. We had some issues with the washroom ceiling a little after one year and to his credit he came back and fixed the problem for us without hesitation. Overall a solid contractor!

We found Alan/Skylight Home Improvement on Facebook/Instagram and are so happy that we did. He did not have a lot of Google Reviews at the time but there was something about him that was very genuine. We were also very impressed with the work he posted on his social media pages.

We received several different quotes for our kitchen. Although Alan's quote was not the cheapest (it was in the middle of all the quotes we received), we went with our gut and knew we wanted him to do the job. We knew that we could trust him to take care of our kitchen. We have no regrets whatsoever and we are so happy that we went with Alan/Skylight Home Improvement.

We did a full kitchen renovation. Alan and his team took care of plumbing, new cabinets, new kitchen floor tiles, quartz countertops, a kitchen waterfall island, quartz backsplash and electrical.

We are so thrilled and happy with how everything turned out. Alan and his whole team were professional, ethical, respectful, friendly, and ALWAYS showed up when they said they would. It was so easy to communicate with Alan - he was always available through phone or text.

We even bought the wrong range hood. We were both tied up at work so Alan shopped around and gave us different range hood options that would be suitable for our kitchen. He truly went above and beyond.

After doing extensive work to other areas in my home, Alan demolished my upstairs bathroom on the day I requested and started to rebuild it after allowing the proper drying time. Alan suggested some large tiles which I wasn't sure about but he was so right. Alan worked steadily on the bathroom and completed it on time. It is gorgeous!! Alan then came back right away to do some small touch ups and add caulking or silicone to two areas that seemed to retain water from the shower and he put in a door stopper as well. He also saw to it that my range hood vent outside was replaced. That was something he installed in February. Alan guarantees his work and comes back to rectify small issues. Plus he always communicates with me and replies to my questions. He is very ethical and keeps his word at all times. I highly recommend Alan and Starlight Home Improvement. He is so talented and can do electrical, plumbing, design, framing, floor installation and everything else. Punctuality and follow through are also superior. I could have rave about Alan forever!!!

I found the SkylightHomeImprovement on kijiji. Never heard about them, they came to my house made big deference. Now we have new floor new stairs new bathrooms new kitchen. They gone do my fence and build a garage next year.. thanks guys I will recommend to anyone for any renovation in their home ..
