I have a large Norway Maple that is leaning and I was worried it was falling. James responded to my request promptly and was at my house within 48 hours. He gave me a lot of information on my tree, basically letting me know that the tree was healthy and it was not necessary to take down as well as informing me about my legal responsibilities regarding the tree and neighbours. He could have very easily told me that the tree needed to be removed and made some money, but instead he was perfectly honest, let me know that the tree was fine, and calmed my worries. He's a really nice guy and I will definitely contact him for any future arborist-related matters!

We called James from Mr. Tree Man to give us a quote to prune 2 large Silver Maples in our backyard. James showed up at the arranged time and after viewing both trees he said in his opinion the trees don't need any work right now and suggested we wait until next fall. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with Jame's honesty. He is very knowledgeable and explained in detail why it is not necessary to do anything right now. We trust James and will definitely call him in the future as well as suggest him to friends and relatives. It was a pleasure meeting him.

We needed one trunk of a two trunk Manitoba Maple removed that was growing into our garage as well as overhanging my neighbours bungalow roof. The other trunk needing to be trimmed to remove deadwood. James was the only service that would meet me in person on my schedule and ended up providing me with the most reasonable quote (by far). He was kind, courteous and knowledgeable as well as communicative throughout the process AND in our case managed to get us a permit exemption from the city which saved us a lot of money. James and his team did an incredible job removing a fallen tree caused by the crazy windstorm May 4th. His response time was almost immediate even in the aftermath of the storm. His pricing was very competitive and the work was done only days after giving the quote. Which was a huge factor considering the circumstances. His team took great care in not damaging anything in our yard. A big thing for me was his honesty and communication. I felt confident he was going to get the job done when promised and done right. I thoroughly recommend James aka Mr Tree man. He made the process of very easy from start to finish. James dealt with the paperwork needed from the city and kept me informed all the way.
The quote was fair and he exceeded my expectation of removing all of the tree (the trunk was so big that he advised it may not be able to fit through the gate but his men managed to cut it down to ground level). They worked diligently into the evening and left the garden in an acceptable state. Thank you James!

The April ice storm brought down a major branch from one the willows in our backyard. Jerome and crew came to our place the following morning, gave us a reasonable quote and after approval, trimmed the stump on the tree, cut up the branch and cleaned up the yard. They were courteous and efficient.

I highly recommend James and his company. He and his crew are professional, courteous and all round amazing. They spent two days taking down a humongous Manitoba Maple whose canopy covered several properties and they also reduced the height of a row of highly overgrown cedars running along my lane. They were respectful of my property, clearing up all the wood, brush and sawdust.
