Never have we been treated so badly by a company. Not sure if the stunts pulled on us were driven by company culture or just individual people trying to save their jobs. The salesman started off by sticking to our original budget. He made promises during the sign-up process for things that never materialized. After sign-up, communication became confusing, strained and difficult. We waited many weeks for replies to emails. Contract rules were not followed by the Builder. Changes were made without our knowledge, approval or sign-off. Under duress, we had to accept the house AS IS or we risked losing our $6-figure down payment. The final bill rolled in at much higher than our original budget. This included extra charges for elements that were STANDARD in their stock plan, for upgrades that we did NOT order and for things that were NOT even installed. We spotted and noted the multiple mistakes during a prelim walk through, and then had to negotiate for adjustments! After possession, dealing with Customer Care for fixes (minor ones) is a little more efficient, except of course when there is an issue they don't want to deal with. If you have concerns about staff that you want to report to the Owner(s), forget it. Apparently, the Customer Care clerk speaks for upper management incl. the CEO. If we could turn back time, we would not step into their show home. As it went, we were sold on a particular lot which happened to be part of this Builders inventory. We should have continued looking elsewhere! Absolutely, not recommending this Builder to anyone.
