We were very excited to have the opportunity to purchase a home within this amazing Sunfield project. Working with Laura our sales representative was an amazing experience, she made the entire process of finalizing the sale effortless. We are now anxiously awaiting the completion of the project and our dream home.

Sunfield Homes bring beautiful Preconstruction House in GTA. Hopefully They will brings more houses, So, it will help to enhance shortage of supply housing market. The staff are so friendly.

I purchased my first home with Sunfield Homes and it was an amazing experience!! We were treated kindly and with respect, the house is currently in it’s pre- construction stage and we could not be more excited!! Bought the house thinking its only 6 years old how bad could it be.

BAD - water leaks in the basement every thunderstorm. There is no insulation or seal around the windows so not only can you hear the noise from outside it is next to impossible to maintain a consistent temperature in the house. The insulation as a general observation is lacking - with the ac cranked we are still sweating upstairs. The backyard is so poorly graded you would think we wanted a hill sloping toward the house.

It's no wonder the previous owners were selling.

Never again would I purchase nor recommend Sunfield.

Never again would I EVER buy a home by Sunfield. Their customer service is terrible. In our kitchen, the upgraded cabinets were all scratched and the clear finish was foggy in areas. It took Sunfield one year to get this matter resolved. 1st the cabinets were lost then it took forever to have them replaced with matching stain. The next problem was the leaky roof. Every winter (except for the one winter that was very mild and had very little snow) we have leaks in Jan/Feb, first it was at the back of the house and now its at the front. The builder did "fix" the back but only after our persistence. They fixed that in our second year of owning the home. The past winter the front of the house has been leaking and we were told by the builder: "well you can sue us but it will cost you more money than fixing it yourself". Nice wright! thats the type of customer service you really want. So my advice to you is not to buy a new sunfield home. It will be Minimum code (because thats all they have to do). They are not "a builder of excellence" but they are a builder of minimum code!!

We were getting a bargain on a house in this area! The day after we moved in, our basement had large puddles of water. When we contacted Sunfield, they told us that that was impossible, that the water was left over from their handy man cleaning the dust of the basement floor. We had pictures of water running down the wall from the windows and even with that it took them months to fix it. And they only fixed it because we were persistent and were calling them 2 to 3 times per week and were stopping in at the site trailer on a weekly basis. This builder is NOT worth the headache! Breakers were missing from our electrical panel, after a year and a half, we just gave up and my husband purchased breakers and put them in himself. The interior pain is of the lowest grade possible and the smooth finish on ceilings only appears smooth in daylight, when we turn the lights on in the evening you can see the poor workmanship. Buyers do your research!

Dealing with Sunfield has been a nightmare. Lack of communication from day one, incorrect information given by staff, total disrespect for buyer. Wish we had done our research on Sunfield prior to buying as the company has not received very good reviews from buyers. Our home has been delayed for 8 months now with the possibility of even further delays. Upon calling the sales site and head office NUMEROUS TIMES we have not rec'd any clear answers as to WHY there is a delay...continue to be given the run-around and bogus information, i.e. samples have not arrived for choosing options. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

we have been in our home almost 3 years. We have never had a period where we were not under repair, or waiting for repair. Our main hall wall has been torn down at least 3 times, reskimmed, resanded and is still crowning, lumpy and bumpy. We have had mushrooms growing out of our bathroom drywall 2 times now. The exterior stonework is crumbling. Their solution is to keep sending "handymen" instead of tradesmen to correct problems, therefore they are never corrected. They leave huge messes behind for the homeowners to clean. Their ethics are unacceptable and we feel powerless against them. I have lots of pics, and backup. Moved in early summer. The house had the wrong paint, wrong ceramics, mismatched ceramics, many rooms creak when walked across on all levels. Caulking in the bathrooms has separated from the walls. Floors are starting to pull away from the walls. After waiting for 5 months for any repairs, ended up doing door and window adjustments, paint touchups, and plumbing fixes myself. Have talked to the builder the contractors and have always been polite but always get the same answer. "Yes we will fix it", They come out once or twice look at the problem and tell me we have to order that and I never see them again. I call the office they send someone else and he tells me "I have to order that and they are gone again. The people are always very polite and always show great concern but do very little. I will never buy new again. Looking forward to the 1 year inspection. Bought the house in 2005, moved in 2008, need I say more. Unfortunately there is more.

Love the design. Love the location, now if they'd just complete the house, it would be great. The day we took posession, there was no siding on the house. Over 6 weeks later, still some to be done. PDI listed 103 items for repair or finish. Many promises - little action. I asked 4 months before closing if they needed more time, I could accomodate that, but they insisted It would be ready. At current rate of progress, it will be 5 years and 19 days before it's finished.
