I had purchased a laptop over a year ago and it had Windows 8 installed when I purchased it. Windows 8 is a very confusing version of Windows and I could not even locate my printer on it. Luckily I use an ipad, so I had not even bothered with my new laptop until now, but an ipad has its limitations, and I knew I had to change to Windows 10. Also there were so many other issues that had to be addressed; things that I didn't understand and things to be deleted. Fortunately I found Dan, owner of Tech Next Door. Dan came to my home punctually the next morning, and not only did he install Windows 10, he arranged my icons and desktop so that even I can now locate everything easily. In minutes, he connected my printer wirelessly, and at my request, he purchased a mobile storage unit and showed me how to back-up my computer periodically to keep my files safe. He coordinated my computer and my ipad and explained which anti-virus software would be of most value to me. Any questions I had, he answered as well as going over instructions of useful functions. Dan is highly skilled, knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. He made sure that my laptop was set up to make access to my files easy. Oh yes, he suggested that my office chair castors which were old and damaging the floor, be replaced. He purchased and installed these for me in 5 minutes. No more floor damage.
It is great to know that I can call Dan now, if I have a computer problem or question and he will respond quickly with the answer.
