We had a pretty poor dryer ventalation sysyem. It was a mix of metal and old plastic piping held loosely together with a mixture of Duct and Gorilla tape. A fire hazard for sure and a pain to keep fixing and retaping now and then!! The Dryer Vent Wiz arrived on time and took about two and a half hours to totally install new venting and pipes. He even installed a new vent cover to stop the critters outside from getting in, which was a problem in the past.

The inspection report of the house we bought in Guelph recommended that the venting of the dryer, which was into the garage, be redirected outside. After seeing an article in a local paper about Paul Stradiotto and Golden Triangle Dryer Vent Wizard, and after checking the reports on HomeStars, we called Paul to give us an estimate. While that was somewhat higher than expected (isn't it always?) it was explained to some extent by the need to cut through concrete to provide another exit point. I had been concerned for a number of months because I knew there were tears in the venting. I also knew it was no longer up to code and could present a fire hazard. The gentleman who worked on my place was very professional and did a very good and thorough job and was upfront with everything including cost. He was very personal as well but always kept to doing the job as best as he could and took care of things even when I had to step out and pick up my kids. He replaced all the piping from the back of my dryer to out of my house, put in a new vent, which was my own, and cleaned all the lint left behind and in my dryer.
