The outcome here is very unfortunate. I had assumed you guys would have known not to run the water with the pipe not being attached. I did my best to make it work for both of us since I didn't damage the floor, but I wanted to help you out. You also didn't tell me about the issue with the floor for months after the installation happened. I'm still willing to help you with your floor at a discounted rate. Please reach out if interested.

I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed in needing to pay $300 instead of $200. You called while I was in the middle of another job, which I left to come to help you right away. You had an illegal set up with your gas pipe, and instead of flagging it and causing your gas to be turned off, I fixed it. I'm sorry I work fast and got it done faster than you deem necessary, but I try to work fast for my customers. Over the phone, I gave you a quote of a "few hundred". That is $300, not a couple, which would be $200. I should have been more clear. You saved the tax by using your status card, and I fixed your situation. We appreciate your business.
