Misleading Practices and False Advertising
Extremely disappointed with THE GLASS DOCTOR NORTH VANCOUVER BC. I was told that the diagnostic fee would be credited back if I proceeded with the job. However, after agreeing, I was informed I needed to pay an additional amount, and the diagnostic fee was not credited back as promised.
When I complained, they blamed the call center, which is a third-party service that gave out wrong information, but the number is on the company's website and represents them. I decided to hire them only because of my initial chat with the call center. Now, I feel forced to proceed because the diagnostic fee won't be refunded otherwise.
Additionally, they did not disclose their minimum charge for any job is $500 until it was too late. This is false advertising and a deceptive practice.
Expect to pay at least $500, contrary to their initial promises. DONT TAKE THEIR WORDS FOR ANYTHING
