My fireplace hadn' been used in years due to an ignition issue. Jeff worked wonders, quickly identifying the root cause and fixing it. He also conducted a thorough safety inspection and cleared years of dust. Efficient, knwoledgeable, and he left my fireplace in top condition. Highly recommend!

Jeff did a great job cleaning my fireplaces (20 and 10 years old) and troubleshooting one that had problems staying lit. He explained to me my options to get my units working well again. He was very thorough and ensured the workspace was left clean and proper.

He replaced a switch as well as a remote for the units and now Im ready for the winter season.

Jeff did a fabulous job cleaning our gas fireplace. He gave us several options related to our faulty switch and explained all thoroughly. Gave us advise on insulation and repainting ugly brass. He disabled our BBQ gas line that had been installed incorrectly by previous owner. Wish we had called him sooner! Fireplace is as good as new!

Jeff came out to our place, he arrived as scheduled and started the repair on our older gas fireplace ( the unit was cutting out and pilot light would go out). Jeff started by doing a thorough cleaning of the machine , he cleaned our air intake. Everything appears to be working well. He stated that if it cuts out again it likely needs a new pilot light assembly and he will come out and fix it, no service call fee, just the labour rate ( during the 30 day warranty period)

Reached out to Jeff to look at our pool heater that had an issue starting.
He acknowledged the issue right away, repaired the heater at a good price and advised us of other concerns since our heater is 10 yrs old.

There was a faint smell of gas odour in the pool shed, so I called Jeff at True Flame Gas Repair after reading many great reviews here & I'm glad I did! He promptly scheduled a service call, inspected and repaired the gas leak due to a loose pipe connection. He also serviced the pool heater and answered all of my questions. Very satisfied! Thank you!

Hired True Flame to take a look at both our fireplace and pool heater as both were in need of service, couldn't be any happier.

Jeff was fantastic! First of all he arrived exactly on time and after asking what I needed and explaining the plan he got to work quickly. He cleaned and checked everything and installed a new remote switch and showed me how to use it. He also patiently showed me how to adjust the fan and where the emergency shut off valve is, just in case. He checked the outside gas line and gave me safety tips/homework as well. My fireplace looks great and I am much more confident troubleshooting and feel perfectly safe. Thanks so much Jeff!

Jeff was straight forward in his quote, patiently answered questions, arrived on time once scheduled, diagnosed the issue efficiently, provided his recommendation with rationale, again patiently answered my questions, and then he went beyond by researching and providing another (lower-cost) option to satisfy me! He implemented the work and provided his written diagnosis/work/invoice.
