He explained clearly what his plan was for our situation (I.e., raccoons living under our deck) and covered all the possibilities for their permanent eviction. I moved into an older home and quickly learned that birds had nested inside the exhaust vents on one side of my house.

I contacted Louis, Owner and Operator of the company and he was able to schedule his visit with a few days. He accessed the animal access points of concern around my house and offered prevention solutions and provided me with a fair quote for his services. Louis also took some photos of some shingle damage on my roof so that I would be aware of it, which I felt was a great thing to have done.

He completed the work and reviewed it with me after he was done. Louis told me that he guarantees his work so if I had any further problems to please reach out to him and he would be back to address them.

A few days later I had a roofer come to fix the shingles and he commented on how well the animal prevention company did on sealing up the access points that he could see on the chimney and roof. That was nice to hear from an impartial vendor.

A little over 3 months after Louis had completed the animal prevention work on my house I contacted him once again. I believed that one of the exhaust vents still contained some parts of a nest, which was preventing the airflow from the bathroom fan. He promptly called me back and confirmed he would come back and address my concern, as it was part of his guarantee.

It turned out that the airflow blockage was not from a nest but rather an old bathroom fan pipe that had been lodge in the side. He removed it for me and asked me to test it. The bathroom fan worked beautifully and resolved the airflow issue I was experiencing. I felt embarrassed but Louis assured me that these things happen in older homes and not to worry at all about contacting him. He once again assured me that I cold call him if I had any further concerns.

Overall Louis is a kind and caring professional who in my opinion will go above and beyond for his customers. Don’t think twice about giving him a call.

Louie came and quickly identified that the problem was birds building themselves a cosy home in my attic. They were able to access the space because a piece of the soffitt was missing. I was impressed with the promptness of the service and the courteous nature of the technician. He was able to immediately complete the job and needed to return the next day, which he did. I very much appreciated the fact that he was clear about his timeline and phoned ahead to notify of his arrival time, which was bang on.

Were able to quickly assess the problem and proposed a menu of solutions from basic to complete pro active prevention. I chose the pro active work. This was done on the first visit. The quality of the work excellent. Clean up of the property excellent as well.

Phoned Louis because of his Homestars rating. He showed up the next day as promised and walked us through the procedures he uses to get rid of our groundhog and/or skunks. He did the work and we asked him to check out our deck in the backyard. He told us that the latticework under the deck indicated that animals were nesting there. We discussed the situation and Louis recommended that we install some wire fencing behind the lattice and then replace the lattice to maintain the appearance of the deck. Apparently he scared away the racoons who had made a home under our deck. We were very happy with Louis and the work he did and would not hesitate to recommend him to family, friends and neighbours.

Everything as promised and extra work done on an area of the soffit that looked like it might become accessible to raccoons, at no additional cost. Friendly and professional, fair pricing. Would definitely call him again.
