Checked attic, & the outside perimeters & the roof.
Installed one way door in the identified entry points. After a week, came back to close the entry points.
Work was very well done.

Mother and baby coon sitting on front step at dinner time, went under deck when I made noise. A1 was there the next morning, no coons to be found. Put in a deterrent and returned 2 days later so seam off deck. Great job and can tell A1 care about the animals and clients

I contacted A-1 Checkmate Wildlife Removal and Prevention for help with a family of raccoons that had invaded my attic and walls. Louis responded promptly to my call and soon arrived to assess the problem. He was very knowledgeable as he explained the work that needed to be done. His quote was reasonable and considerably lower than another company that I had contacted. He sealed off the animal entry ways and removed the baby raccoons in a very humane and professional way. This particular raccoon family was very persistent and when Louis needed to return to deal with them again, there was no extra charge for his additional work. I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends or colleagues who are experiencing wildlife problems.

Louis is a very nice person very friendly and is at your home or business to do the job and make sure it's done.Louis went out of his way to get a squirrel that was in between the walls. He even came late at night for me as I was so upset about this squirrel..he lives an hour and a half away from me but still came to help us God Bless him.We were able to go away on our already planned family weekend and we could trust him 100% with our combination lock to go into our home.I would highly recommend Louis as he's very friendly,gets right on the job to remove our squirrel humanely does his job 100% perfect and I felt so at piece in my home when the squirrel was set free out of my home. After the Mother was humanely trapped, we could hear a baby raccoon crying, stuck behind a wall in one of our bedrooms. Louis has the proper equipment (thermal imaging camera/scanner) to locate the baby's exact location. He then very neatly removed a few inches of baseboard, cut a small piece of drywall out (easy to repair afterward) and gently removed the baby raccoon.

When we asked Louis on how we can avoid this from happening in the future, he offered a full house/roof inspection to ascertain any areas of concern and gave us a very reasonable estimate to conduct some 'preventive' maintenance work. This was completely neatly and efficiently on that same visit. (And all this on the Monday of the Victoria Day long weekend.)

We have dealt with other wildlife removal services (our home is on a provincial park border), and we have never found a more professional and skilled individual like Louis from A-1 Checkmate Wildlife Removal & Prevention. He will be the only call we ever make should wildlife removal services be required and would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends and family.

Service was done when promised, very reliable. Raccoon was removed from under deck and the new concrete barrier was installed to prevent future re-entry. Also had a one-way trap door installed at the shed to trap whatever was living there. All work was done as originally quoted. I wouldn't hesitate to use the service again in the future as they were friendly to work with.
