Jdl Builders Inc. No Longer In Business

After a month of living in our new house I noticed it was constantly raining inside the cold cellar in the basement. Multiple types of mould were present and we had to remove all items and clear up the room before fixing it.
JDL Builders were courteous and professional. They hired a team to remove the mould over a couple of days (with care equal to the removal of asbestos) then drilled proper ventilation holes and covered them with beautiful animal and bug proof vents. The interior door was then upgraded to prevent the house from getting cold in the winter. Months later they were kind enough to come back and check in, making adjustments if needed.

JDL were fantastic from helping with planning and design, right through all of the stages of demo and renovation and did not stop until the job was done exactly as we wanted it. Very reliable, excellent craftsmanship, and reasonably priced too! I highly recommend them.

My basement was fully unfinished. Contacted and met with Louis to discuss options and design a layout that would accommodate both my infant son's needs for a safe, spacious play area and my wife and I's need for additional comfortable, enjoyable living space. He not only helped design a fabulous area, but did a fantastic job. The work and look is spectacular. He finished in a timely fashion and provided great value for the money spent. Would highly recommend him.

I used JDL Builders Inc to refinish my kitchen cabinets. I found Louis to be both professional and friendly. He answered all my questions patiently and promptly. He was able to give me insight into different approaches I could use and priced them all out for me. Any problems were dealt with immediately. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy. The final cost was the exact price that I was quoted. Service didn't end with the installation, he has kept in contact to make sure that the kitchen is functional and enjoyable. I will use the company for further projects and would happily refer them to anyone.

I called Louis with an issue with mould and mildew and he was in our office the next day with a professional who tested the air. Within ten days of dealing with the smell, abatement and re-building of two walls, a complete paint job, carpet replacement and installation of new lights, we were ready to put the office back together. Louis was on site for the complete process and was willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied and that our problem was solved. Throughout, his team of professionals completed their repairs with courtesy and detail. Louis explained everything that needed to be done and was able to keep within our budget set for this work. We thank him for his professionalism and attention to detail. I will definitely be asking this company to do further work for us.

The work required was full wall wainscoting in our new build. Louis was professional, honest, efficient while producing quality results. His professional expertise resulted in the work exceeding our expectations. We would be comfortable recommending Louise to family and close friends.
