I called to get my leaking eavestrough fixed, asked if I needed new eavestrough or levelling. He said it didn't, know I feel like he screwed me. Quick work quick cash in his pocket. The eavestrough leak worse than before and won't return my phone calls.

In the recent wind storms my roof was horribly damaged and I couldn't get anyone to come right away so I contacted anyone I can to refer me to a reliable roofer. A friend of mine recommended I call Reliance, and I did. Someone was over to give me a quote the very next day and fixed everything up!

Consumer Beware!!

In June 2017, I had purchased a Eavestrough Cleaning Service from Reliance Exterior Services Inc. through Buytopia website. On the day of the appointment, I failed to present a printed copy of the voucher and was not able to retrieve it from Buytopia website either as their system was down that morning, so I called Reliance to see if I can workout any arrangement since their man was already at my doorstep. They asked me to pay for the full price $80 for their service even though I had already paid for their service through Buytopia Website, and said they would refund me the difference once I get that done.I did everything they asked me to.
5 months later and I still haven't received my refund of $30. It gets to a point where you said to yourself is this worth wasting the time and aggrevation. I had called more than 10 times during this period and spoke with Nathan who said he would take care of the refund. Every time I called Nathan would promise to send me the payment in the next few days but the payment never came. I know it is not a large sum of money but I find them to be a "bully". Not only did they appear unapologetic for the delay, they came across as cold and condescending. The way they acted go against proper business practice and I would not recommend other's to use their service. Furthermore, their work was sluggish, they spent all but 15 mins on the Eavestrough. I would strongly advised not to use their service.

I won't recommend this company to anyone, last year I bought a buytopia voucher for $39. I called them many times but got no answer, when I did reach them they said they were very busy and that they would set-up an appointment and didn't show up twice, I called again and they weren't answering my calls as they could see my number. They never showed up and because it took so long to get through to them buytopia wouldn't refund me the money either.

there were missing shingles on my roof. they went out rightaway got the matching colors shingles and replace them rightaway. they were prompt and reliable guys. i highly recommend them.

EXTREMELY unprofessional and unreliable. I bought an Exteriors Home eves trough cleaning from Buytopia.Ca to Clean check my roof as well as a repair of the missing shingles if required. I left work early and they didn't even show show up or call me to notify. I rebooked and they showed up late the second appt. Worst of aIl I suggested my neighbour get his eves troughs clean at the same time. My neighbour willing said yes. This guy with a garbage bag went up the ladder and came down with it completely empty. He said a critter was biting into the roof and needed repair to stop it from Entering the house. my neighbour paid him $150 to repair. The next month we both learned that the guy did nothing as the water was over flowing because our Eve's troughs were full of stuff. Meanwhile empty garbage man said they were clean?. He didn't repair a thing. A raccoon did get into my neighbours home and the other companies hired said nothing was done to repair it??? The reliance staff was Untrustworthy . I tried calling them several time and no answer of calls back. I feel like I ripped off my neighbours for recommending them.

Reliance is quick reliable and very professional it was a very pleasant experience I would highly recommend them and the price was very reasonable. I had my whole roof done and they threw in a free chimney cleaning

Reliance Exteriors Home Services Inc. is so unprofessional and unreliable. I bought a Reliance Exteriors Home Services Roof Maintenance Package for $149.00 from Buytopia.Ca to do a roof inspection as well as a repair of the missing shingles on our roof. They showed up late twice already at our home considering the fact that they gave me a 5 hour window period between 12 PM and 5 PM. Reliance won't even bother to phone you ahead of time that they will be late at all. They will show up at your place without the necessary materials at all considering the fact that you told them over the phone what the issue that you have on your roof. In my case, I have some missing shingles and it needs to be replaced. Reliance also claimed that there was an exposed plywood of about 64 SQFT on our roof that was rotten and so it needs to be repaired. According to Reliance Exteriors Home Services Inc., the repair that needs to be done on the exposed plywood area of 64 SQFT was to remove the damaged/rotten plywood and install new plywood on the rotten plywood as well as install new shingles on that area and also there was one roof vent cap that was broken and needs to be replaced which they gave me a qoute for $1,000.00 . I paid them $100.00 deposit for the extra work that needs to be done. I cancelled the job that Reliance Exteriors Home Services Inc. were supposed to repair on my roof because of being late the again on their 2nd appointment. The 1st appointment, they showed up at 5:30 PM for an appointment that was booked between 12 PM and 5 PM. The 2nd appointment, Reliance again gave me an appointment between 12 PM and 5 PM and showed up at 6PM on the scheduled day of appointment. Now, I ended up hiring another Roofing company who revealed to me that what Reliance Home Exteriors Services Inc. had been telling and claiming to me that the exposed plywood on our roof which is about 64 sqft was not rotten at all. According to the other Roofing company, the exposed plywood was not rotten at all and that the only repairs that needs to be done on the exposed plywood area of about 64 SQFT was just to replace the missing shingles on the exposed plywood area. I have a document as well as pictures to back this up from the other Roofing Company that I hired to repair the missing shingles on our roof. Thank goodness Reliance did not touch our roof at all as it would most likely create another problem on our roof. Please stay away from this company as you will most likely going to waste your money. Please do your research before hiring this company and beware of their wrong claims which Reliance Home Exteriors Services Inc. did to me.

Bought a Buytopia deal for $39.00, They say it is a 180 dollar chimney cleaning and inspection and wow do I feel ripped off. I was given a 5 hour window of noon to five which is ridiculous enough to begin with but they couldn't even make that showing up at 5:20. To make it worse he left at 5:40 and apparently taking off and setting up the ladder, getting on the roof, cleaning my chimney and doing a 15 point inspection on which he stated I should pay them 340 dollars to clean and resecure my eaves all is able to be done in twenty minutes. Oh, and I should also may another couple hundred to put a new cap on my chimney.

Looked into my chimney and reached up from the bottom and it is completely dirty still and the walls of the chimney are still caked in soot.

I called their number and spoke with someone (whose name I did not get) who really didn't seem to care, they just kept saying it doesn't take long when trying to justify how they were there and gone so quickly. Didn't seem bothered that I was disappointed in their work, said all they do is stick a brush down from the top and leave and they could send someone to quickly throw another brush down. I am not waiting another 5 hours for work from someone who doesn't care. I asked them if they were a bondable company if my chimney now catches on fire because they said it is clean and it isn't, he just stayed quiet.

I am not having to call a second chimney sweep and this time I learned my lesson and will be getting a reputable one, from the amount of 0's I see on this website and most being on people who bought groupons etc,, it is quite clear they do not care to do work on a discounted rate. They just take what they can get and leave. And worst part is before they started he said I had to pay the 5 dollars in taxes which I knew, so I gave him a twenty and said thanks keep the change as a tip and man do I feel dumb tipping in advance now. Brutal.

After receiving 5 quotes in which I made very specific requests for materials and details of work, I decided to have my century home roof done by Reliance exterior services. The job included a roof with a very steep pitch, with removal of a layer of slate and 3 layers of shingles, very tight access with the neighbour’s house on one side, plus stripping 3 layers and re-sheathing/roofing a 2 level flat roof. It was a very difficult job at a very competitive price. I still cannot say enough good things about all the people I came in contact with or the job that was done- From the estimator and service rep who answered all my calls, concerns and questions immediately or if he didn't know got back to me timely; always extremely polite, listened to my requests and specifications, clarified and made further excellent suggestions. Also very polite and professional, took great care to protect my house and property as well as my neighbours'. They worked so hard and diligently over the 4 days job (all estimators said it would be a 4-5 day job). Taking great care and pride in a job very well done (which I personally saw up close since I was frequently on the roof). As the rep confidently said, I am here to work for you and I'll work for you for the next 50 years'(the shingles are lifetime warranty). Every night all the garbage was removed and a magnetic nail sweep was done- the clean-up was amazing. They very diligently and knowledgeably dealt with some concerns and details and made some excellent suggestions. From the start Simon said,' we can do whatever you want, with whatever you want, you just tell us and we can do it. We just want you to be happy with the job in the end'. I definitely am and highly recommend them. I have already referred them to others. They not only talked the talk but walked the walk!
