They came out as a service call - $105 + tax just to find out why my oven and stove were not functioning properly. They responded quickly to my request on HStars and the service guy was nice and explained things clearly.

Freezer section was not properly defrosting on a KitchenAid model purchased in 2011. Serviceman new exactly what issue was and fixed it in a very short period of time. Was very friendly and kept me informed as to the progress of the repair. Would use Valley View Appliances again for sure!

The problem was an old but functional Bosch wall oven whose door wouldn't close properly and opened too far. On his initial visit, Tony found that the hinges needed replacing. He was able to find and price the parts right then, and gave me a quote for the repair, but put me under no pressure to give the go-ahead. I paid for the visit (just over $100) and he left me to consider whether to proceed. The parts were expensive, but way cheaper than a new oven so I booked a repair. A couple of days later, Valley View called to say parts were in, and so I scheduled the repair (about 1 week out). Tony and Steve did an excellent job, being very careful and clean. The job involved sliding out the oven to replace the hinge parts, which also included redoing some of the wiring. At all times, both were very polite, and a pleasure to deal with. Valley View's online technician tracking system allowed me to get a good idea of when they would be showing up within the appointment window. There was also an automated phone call to me as they were finishing their previous appointment. These are both very useful features of their service. I have no hesitation in recommending their service.

Thanks for installing our dishwasher! I appreciate that Wade was on time and that he called to confirm. The job was done quickly, Wade kept our kitchen area clean and he even moved our old dishwasher to the garage for us.

Replaced ignitor in oven. Technician was very thorough in the work provided as well as with explaining the problem. Extremely satisfied with the work done.

Very professional - covered the counter with a mat so tools etc wouldn't .scratch. Very competent, courteous, and conscientious. Replaced the ice-maker (warranty) and adjusted the fridge door that I accepted was design fault at no extra charge. The best appliance repairman that I have ever experienced!

Really like the online experience as well as home service! Nice to be able to book an appt after hours on line and really like how I was kept up to date as to when service tech was to arrive. From a consumer perspective this was a quality company to deal with from start to finish.

Frigidaire fridge ice maker/chilled water stopped working and was showing an error code which I provided to valley view on their webpage service request.
The contact I had with them from then until their arrival was first rate. Their dispatch system is nothing short of awesome. I was emailed a link the night before which showed me the approximate locations of all the jobs my assigned engineer had and where I was in the queue. Then, about 10 minutes before he arrived I received an automated phone call advising he was on the way. It may only seem like a small thing, but it allowed me to get on with other things around the house while I waited for him to arrive. I've never seen a system so well oiled.
My engineer, Steve, was punctual, friendly, prepared and knowledgable. He had already brought the parts he anticipated would be needed, based on the error code I provided and 30 minutes later, I had a working fridge again. He also took extra time to discuss maintenance I could perform and filter requirements etc.
Overall, I was very impressed and would be happy to use these guys again.

Steve arrived when he said he would. Once he had diagnosed the problem he reviewed it with me, along with what the cost would be. My dryer was fixed quickly. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. Steve was very professional and polite. I would highly recommend Valleyview.
