Liberty Security

I recommend Troy Cole from Liberty Security. He put together a system for our office and home. We are very happy with the setvice right from the start to ongoing. They where fast and efficent. Plys love the phone app which gives me peace of mind of what is going on in my properties.

I purchased an alarm system with cameras from Liberty. I am a person who takes the time to research the products I want with extreme diligence. I also received quotes from virtually every home alarm company in Calgary.

Many of the salespersons I spoke with at some companies were quite horrible to deal with (Vivint was the absolute worst). I also enjoy sharing my experiences with a lot of people, whether that is a positive or negative experience.

I dealt with Jennifer Borowski from Liberty and I can say that she was outstanding to deal with. She makes herself very accessible and was great at answering many of my specific questions. She made a point of either answering my question right away or getting back to me once she had found it out. She was just fantastic to deal with.

I had an excellent experience working with Tyler from Liberty. He was informative and helpful in picking the optimal set up for my place. His knowledge and expertise was appreciated. I would recommend Liberty and Tyler to anyone in the market for a system.

I had the best experience with the sales person Nathan Goobie. He is very polite speaks Filipino language very well. He has good personality and wont sell you a product which he thinks you don't really need or find it hard for your bill payments which is AWESOME. I would HIGHLY recommend Nathan and the LIBERTY security. Their service are really good which we are enjoying and find it safer for my family especially with my children. Also the guy who installed the product i think his name is Homer he is AWESOME and very nice did a great JOB. Liberty and Team did a great job.

We have had numerous issues with theft in a house that is under construction. Liberty did a great job Installing a security system in the house while it is still being built.

Joshua Hudson from Liberty was our technican and he is super awesome and work late till 8pm. We totally love him and will definitely recommend him again!!! Totally do this again.

It's been three weeks. From the start this was a horrible experience. Sales documents showed pictures of items that weren't actually available. Told system would be installed on GSM but was installed on wi-fi and wouldn't arm from outside house. Lock offered as part of package was sub standard. When I asked for a replacement lock on the advice of a locksmith, service technician called to argue with me on how good the lock would be, using his own experience as "proof". Requested a refund for the lock, as we chose to purchase a better quality lock on the advice of the locksmith. Requested installation of a smart thermostat that matched the one in the photo of the sales documents, that would have a display on at all times without pressing buttons. Was told this was the "old" model and would be ordered. Made appointment with technician to have thermostat installed. Technician was 90 minutes late, and called after 90 min to say that thermostat had arrived "used" and could not be installed. Requested entire system to be removed as we had had enough of run-around from the company.

Have been waiting on refund for activation and first month of service. Despite multiple calls to their office, their team feels this has been "closed" on their side and has advised us to chase down refund through the bank.

Would not recommend this company to anyone.

We just relocated to Calgary and need to secure our home and determine what kind of security system was best for us - what we needed vs what we wanted. Cole was very good in providing options, keeping it simple and usage the existing system. Josh did a great job installing the system. Quick, clean and spent the time with us to set it up and show us how to use it. Terrific experience!!

I wanted to up-grade my 6 year old security system and ADT wanted to charge me almost $1000.00 to up-grade it to provide me with an additional keypad for my bedroom.
I contacted Liberty as I had read the reviews and also heard they were very well respected in Edmonton.
They did even more than I could have asked for at a reasonable cost and I am paying about the same monitoring fee I had paid to ADT for decades of monitoring. But, Liberty is here in Edmonton which, in my view, is much better than being monitored by persons in a different city since ADT removed its Edmonton monitoring station, too.
I am very happy with the new company and the installation went smoothly. They were prompt with their service call and on time.

Easy install. Was able to meet with a sales representative and have the system installed same day! Helpful team and no pressure sales approach. Very happy with our system - the app provides great piece of mind and ease of use. Highly recommend!
