I would use Water Guard again.
I used them because my neighbour recommended Mike after he installed a backflow valve and new drain line (no digging). So I used them to install a new backflow valve inside the house.
His guys were clean, polite and fast. They also handled all the peel region permit paperwork.
I found their prices to be reasonable and their service good. I would use them again.

Note, I used the permit paperwork to apply and get the backflow rebate. Note, check if your area qualifies before you apply and if it doesn’t call the rebate office to discuss. It’s helpful if you can provide examples of backflow in your house.

Michael & his staff carried out the work on a professional & satisfactory manner. Work was done on the Time that he specified . They were punctual every day. On completion of the work they cleaned up extremely good & good rid of all debris.

They did an incredible job replacing our sewer line via pipe bursting, and installing a sump pump. They clean up so thoroughly it's like they were never there (save from the fact that the concrete floor in our furnace room is much nicer now).

For the past two years we have lived in an old semi-detached home in East York. About 6 months after we moved in we discovered that the sewer line had been infiltrated by roots. After tiptoeing around the problem for more than a year we decided to have it fixed by upgrading our sewer line from old ceramic pipe to PVC. The major issue was that our basement is finished, and the thought of having to rip up a trench through our guest room was off-putting.

Enter Water Guard. Michael came by the house and did the most complete inspection of any of the plumbers we contacted. He scoped and measured everything, made sure he understood what we wanted, and was able to explain clearly and concisely what Water Guard could do to fix the problem. Michael detailed the trenchless pipe bursting technique they would use to replace our ceramic pipes, explained how they would reroute the plumbing in the basement to accommodate the new sewer line and gave me every confidence they could do the job with minimal disruption.

And that's exactly what happened. After 3 days of intense work, here we are, with a brand new sewer line. Our basement and front yard ? It looks like Water Guard were never here. We couldn't be happier, and we highly recommend Water Guard.

I recently dealt with Mike and his team. My sewer had backed up and I was in desperate need of a drain specialist. Mike came right away and told us what the problem was. I explained to him that I had 2 small kids and he was willing to start the job the very next day. Mike and his team were very professional, knowledgeable and hard working. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends. If I ever need a plumber again I'm calling Mike.
