Disappointed to read other comments that have had the same experience as us... So its not a one off it truly is horrible customer service and unprofessional staff and manager! Quoted one week for them to return and fix our dishwasher and its been 6 weeks that we have been left with a broken appliance we cannot use because they can't get their act together! They don't return calls, or call back when they say they will with an update on parts or when they will return to fix. They even went as far as booking a time to come back and cancelled the morning of because they didn't have the part... Why waste my time and book an appointment?! Will never use or recommend this company

Very poor customer service. Contacted DFA to get freezer fixed. Technician came and inspected on April 22and diagnosed coolant leak.. Said they would be back in a week's time to fix. Finally returned May 26th after several calls. Repair failed after about six weeks. Technician came back August 4th, inspected unit, diagnosed slow leak and said parts needed to be ordered. He said someone would call and he would likely back in a few days to week to install. No one called. Followed up 10 days after visit. Advised parts had not arrived. Told office would call when parts arrived. No call. Called back on August 21st and appointment made to install parts on morning of August 27th. Technician was to call early in morning to confirm time. No call. Called office. No response.

The service repair person came in and said the 1-year old dish washer needed a new part. He said he would order it. We paid over $100 for that favour. About two weeks later we were then asked to pay for the part; we paid over $200 for that as well.

We are now six weeks after the fact and nothing. They called once to say they were coming but then they did not show up. We called and asked for a call back... nothing.

It seems customer service is at the bottom of their priority list. After all, they've been paid.

Chris was great. He was recommended by another appliance repair company because they did not service Viking appliances, but Chris did. He called me back promptly and came to assess the situation the next morning. He quickly determined what needed to be replaced and ordered the part. I'm a Realtor who was looking after the repair for a client. It was great to give Chris the lockbox code and not have to meet him at the property, then look after the payment over the phone. A receipt was sent right away and the fix done in the next couple of days once the part was available. Not only did he do a great job looking after the repair, he also saved the day when he alerted me to a completely unrelated issue (water leaking in the basement) which he heard while in the house, that we were then able to get fixed quickly. Great service and highly recommended!

Attended my residence, diagnosed the problem, charged me the service fee of $100. Requested they order the part, never heard from them again. I contacted them a week later, first said the part had not been ordered, then changed the story to the part had been ordered and it would arrive soon. Again no phone calls or updates as to when the part would arrive. After waiting 2.5 weeks for the part to arrive I contacted a competitor and not only did the competitor find the part, they had it shipped the same day, and I received it the same day I called the competitor. Durham's Finest Appliance is dishonest, and incapable of completing even the smallest of repairs.

I only have one service man in to work on my appliances and that is Chris Wilkins. Knowledgable,on time and reasonably priced repairs is what I have come to know each time I call Chris in to repair any appliance or furnace. I highly recommend his business. You won't be let down.

My basement got flooded and my furnace was shot. Chris from DFA was the most reasonably priced for the type of furnace I wanted. His team was super efficient and got the job done in no time. We needed an emergency call, and they delivered! Highly recommend this company.

We were having a problem with our bottom mount freezer leaking periodically. A I called Chris from Durham Finest Appliance, he was prompt in calling me back and he showed up when he said he would. He fixed the problem in one visit, did not leavr a mess and was very courteous and friendly. I will definitely use him again for any other appliance problem and will be recommending him to friends and family

Adam from Durhams Finest came to my home regarding a brand new fridge which had just been delivered a few days before, he was extremely knowledgeable, and within 10 minutes he explained more to me about my appliance then the Salesperson did, if you need appliance repair I would highly recommend Durhams Finest Appliance. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

The service was delayed one day, but our project was not urgent, and they were still able to make the house call on short notice. The fridge problem is not completely resolved, but that was secondary to the gas stove. The information we received about the repair to the stove and the attention to detail were exceptional. Great guy, too!
