This past august we hired Saul and Sod Masters , and, following their great job, our lawn looks just great and is one of the best in the neighborhood! What impressed us and what set Saul apart from others is his ability to communicate all relevant details about the progress , timing was great and as promissed, the quality of work was very professional, the price was competitive, and the entire crew, Saul, Tom, Arthur, Brandon, Connor, James and Kevin, was professional and fun. They were at our property for a day and a half and we got to know them well: hard working, always smiling and ready to address any of our questions. The positive company culture gets generated from the owner, Saul. They started & finished the work on time and on budget. We will always be happy to recommend Saul & Sod Masters to everyone.

I hired Saul and Sod Masters last fall, and a year later I couldn't be happier - my lawn is one of the best in the neighbourhood! There were a couple things that impressed me and set Saul apart from others: communication about progress and timing was great; the quality of work was top notch (e.g., they put down more quality soil than competitors); the price was competitive, and the entire crew was professional and fun. They were at my property a couple days and I got to know them well. They were always smiling and happy to explain the process to me - you can tell the positive culture starts from the owner, Saul. The team also went above & beyond: I had a large stack of old lumber in the corner that I was supposed to clear before they started, but they happily helped me without even asking! Best of all, Saul kept all his promises: they started & finished the work on time, on budget, and he even came back this year to replace a small patch that didn't take - no questions asked! Would definitely recommend Saul & Sod Masters to everyone.

Saul was very quick with coming to collect his money on the day of the installation but not so much when I complained about the grass not doing so well a few weeks after the install, took a few phone calls to get him to show up, see photos of my lawn not even three months in.

Saul and his crew came and did a great job over 3 days. I requested to remove garden of perennials I could not get rid of, remove a large bush, grade backyard, retaining wall, and lay sod.

Although half the lawn died, I believe it's because it was too shaded for the grass to survive. This spring I put down seed and now it's great. Despite of this, I still recommend Sod Masters because Saul also made last minute adjustments for me considering he was backed up on his contracts due to the season starting late last year.

Saul and his team at Sod Masters laid new sod in my back yard a few weeks ago. I was a little confused at first because I was contacted by Tom but everything was very professional and clearly explained. I was working from home and didn't even realize how much they completed before 12:00 PM. The team left the yard spotless and were very quick, quite and efficient. The quote was a little more expensive than others but you get what you pay for. I followed the watering instructions by Saul and my backyard is looking GREAT!

Everyone was very nice to deal with and thry seem to be a very busy company. No issues with customer service at all and payment couldnt be easier. Job looks good, just had to go back over all the sod as it wasnt pushed down flat in all areas (not sure its supposed to be either). Great experience, good work but expensive for such a small yard. Will sod myself again next time but thought i’d go with the pros as I was to busy and wanted it dont right. Good work.

Saul and his team did a fantastic job installing sod in my back yard. They made sure to keep the shape of the yard and took great care in cleaning up afterward. Their instructions for aftercare and maintenance was also thorough.

Will definitely contact Saul again for future projects.

Saul and his team arrived as scheduled, and performed the work efficiently and well. They were friendly and courteous, and easy to deal with. I would absolutely deal with them again, and recommend them without reservation.
****UPDATE - Initial work was good however since then we have had problems with our lawn and followed up with Saul for some feedback. He told us he would come to have a look at our lawn twice. He has not done this and has completely avoided us. Told us he would come back to cut a tree at beginning of Sept. Charged us a RIDICULOUS price because he could not be bothered. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! DOES NOT CARE about his clients and constantly brags about how busy he is. Don't be fooled by first contact. EXTREMELY DISAPOINTED.*****

In a word - great. They do excellent work and are very easy to deal with. Things came up that weren't anticipated and Sol was understanding and made sure the job was perfect. They put the racoon netting and releveled the ground. I was very happy with the results and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service. Its a pleasure to deal with people like Sol who cares about the kind of work done . thank you sodmasters!
