Carl is super friendly and is very knowledgeable about different options that are available for lighting and baseboard heaters. He will go out of his way to help you. He is an honest and down to earth guy and is fair in his pricing. I will definitely call him again for further help.

I was shocked to discovered that many of my light switches were not working properly after moving to my new home. I immediately called Karel, and he arrived on the same day. During his diagnosis he discovered that many switches and outlets were wired incorrectly since the house was built in 2005, and explained in detail the implications of not fixing the issue. He replaced the defective outlets and light switches, installed smoked detectors, installed a dryer hose for my dryer, and educated me on the last electrical codes to ensure my house was up to standards. Karel is very honest and very easy to work with. I am very shocked that many builders are getting away of using backstabbed wiring for electrical outlets and switches for newly built homes. I recommend Karel as your "main go to person" for any electrical problems.

The kitchen light was out, so was the one of the counter top outlets. He was able fix it very quickly! We also have a kitchen sink problem and he was able to help me and get rid of the clog. Very nice guy and great work!

2 chandeliers were put together and installed. All my old electrical outlets were replaced with new ones. Inside and outside.

A/C crapped out. Called Karel because I had him do telecommunication services some years ago. He came to Milton on his day off. Someone else told me I needed a new a/c. Karel told me over the phone it wasn't the problem. He did the troubleshooting over the phone saving me a separate service call. He brought a part with him and fixed the issue in no time. Very honest and trustworthy. Highly recommend Karel.

We encountered an issue with our indoor sauna when it suddenly stopped working. After doing some research, we selected DE KONING Electrical & Mechanical find out what the problem is and fix it.

Karel was the electrician who arrived at our house and I could tell that I immediately liked the guy. He began to analyze the sauna controller, wiring, etc to determine the issue. After figuring it out, he was able to explain to me what happened in a clear and concise manner - and I have no electrical background. Additionally, he pointed out some other areas for concern while confirming it by showing me readings from his instruments.

After we discussed potential remediation options, we selected one which Karel was comfortable with and that worked best for our situation. He was able to finish the agreed upon work in a timely manner.

All in all, I was very impressed with Karels knowledge and work ethic. In the future, I would not hesitate calling him again for any electrical projects and highly recommend him to family, friends and anyone else.
