I wanted to thank Robin and Matt for their services. Their client service was impeccable and professional. They demonstrated that they took pride in their work and were always willing and ready to meet our timeframe. In addition, it was apparent to me that they cared about their clients, specifically when contacted a few times after the installation, Robin was always available to help us with the function instructions of the fireplace. Robin and Matty are the absolute best in trades and customer service. I went through a few contractors offering me wild solutions to a wood to gas swap out and it was an absolute joy and relief to finally meet someone realistic, pragmatic and honest. What a rare pair.
The quality of work was impeccable, the whole job wrapped up in 2 days and around my wife's piano lessons schedule. Best of all, Robin had everything on site to produce a digital copy of the quote, close the deal, take the deposit and after finishing, take final payment all on the spot. No need to find a cheque book; just swipe and 2 days later a new fireplace. Impeccable after service for a few queries, overall an A+++ experience. I will definitely call again to install a fireplace on my main floor.

Five years ago my husband and I decided to upgrade our living room fireplace - after some research - we decided to have robin do the work for us - we were totally pleased with his workmanship - product knowledge - honesty - truly an outstanding tradesman - also kept our home very clean - the whole time he was doing the work. We were SO IMPRESSED with his workmanship - before he finished the living room fireplace - we decided to have another unit constructed in the sitting area of our bedroom - robin did the complete job - fireplace unit - surrounding wall - mantle - when he left our home - in a couple of days - the job was finished - we were up and running. This year - with the cost of electricity skyrocketing - we decided we needed another gas fireplace in the man cave - the location we chose was not suitable - but ever the expert - robin - showed us where it should be located - and again - he did the total job - cost of 4200 was very reasonable - the granite stonework - is perfect. We moved into a new house in the middle of the winter and found it cold in the basement despite us cranking up the heat. We decided that a gas stove was what we needed. Robin came over and looked at our place and gave us a free estimate. He was very helpful during the entire process. He helped us choose the right stove, explained everything in detail, was always readily available, always on time and even accommodated last minute changes made by us. We are very happy with the end result, the stove has kept us warm during this long, never-ending winter. Thanks Robin, you have been amazing and we will certainly recommend you to all our friends.

We wanted to update our 80's wood burning fireplace and convert it to gas.
Robin was very helpful. He came to our house and explained the many options to choose from and corresponding price points to keep us on budget. When it came time for the work to be done, the team was very punctual, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. On the first day we changed our minds about the size of the gas fireplace we wanted. Robin was very accommodating, got us the bigger unit right away, no hassle.
The work took two days. On the first day the old firebox was taken out, the gas line set up, gas fireplace installed, and new drywall done. On the second day the tile and stone panels were installed. Our custom mantel was delivered a week later. We love the new fireplace. We have had it on every night since getting it. Robin and the team from Fireplace West did a great job.

Robin and his team from Fireplace West did an incredible job on our custom home. They installed the pipe from the propane tank right into the house, branched it off to our stove, dryer, hot water tank, and fireplace. They also helped us choose a fireplace and delivered and installed it. It is honestly the center piece of our home and we could not be happier. They were timely, professional, and the attention to detail is something you will not find with other contractors. HIGHLY recommend using his services. When it comes time to perhaps put a fireplace in the bedroom they will be my first call.

Robin and son Matty found the right stove and beautiful granite base, and fixed faulty ductwork in the basement so that the bedroom downstairs is properly heated. They show great competence and negotiating skills (difficult next-door condo neighbour), and work to budget. Honest and trustworthy.
