I had contacted another furnace company to do a tune up on my furnace. They said I had a cracked heat exchanger and that I needed a new furnace that they quoted $6800 to replace. After calling Carrier and finding out I had some warranty on the exchanger I called Trent. He came and took my furnace apart to check it out. He could have claimed my exchanger was cracked and either charged me to replace it or quoted me to change the furnace. Instead he showed me the inside of my furnace and explained that he di not find any cracks, fractures or anything that warranted a new furnace. He completed the tune up, replaced one small part and left after giving me a detailed inspection report. Quite impressed with his attitude and professionalism. I have added him t omy contacts and he will be the only one I call next time.
