From the beginning, Toronto Comfort Zone laid out a clear plan on the steps we'd need to take in order to renovate our almost century old non-operational fireplace. We were able to convert the existing box (with some demo) to fit a gas option in and provided them with multiple reference photos on what we were hoping to achieve with the surround and built-ins. After picking out the gas unit, we were offered a couple of tile retailers to select the herringbone surround. Great options and super happy with the way it turned out. The mantel was also sourced from a recommended place and they were both efficient and affordable. After the fireplace and surround were in place, the space was measured for left and right built-ins. Understanding up front that this journey from beginning to end had many moving parts, old house abnormalities, small delays etc the results are stunning.
