Base Tech Waterproofing

We had Basetech waterproof our foundation in 2019. It was an exterior job along 2 walls, including 4 window wells. We worked with Tony. Initially, service and communication was good and we were happy. They came back a year later to help resolve some water that was still coming in the area from an improperly sealed window. Our property was dry for a while.

More recently we are experiencing water issues again. We called Tony, texted, sent pictures. we heard back from him once and said her would come back. He didnt. We filed an home insurance claim and after opening our basement walls and flooring, it was determined that water is coming in through the foundation through a crack in an area that was waterproofed by Basetech.

We called Tony again, left messages, sent another text and have heard nothing back. This was mid-June 2023 and it is now 3-4 weeks later and we have still not heard back. We are highly disappointed as we trusted them and they told us their work was guaranteed. We understand if they are busy, but the total lack of communication is disappointing. We now need to bring in another company to fix the issue.

Tony and his crew did a fantastic job water proofing and fixing a crack in our foundation. They were very quick, clean and punctual. No more water flowing in our basement!

I have paid them $ 5000 for water proofing . Problem does not solve , water comes again. I called them they said ohh we need to dig another wall now , and they want me to pay another 4000 dollars . Which is ridiculous. They are not expert. Please do not call them.

I had several companies I went through to find the right one for our family, we had a range of quotes thrown at us but none made more sense and comfortable to use then Basetech. We spoke with Peter one of the partners, at times I was messaging him on a daily basis as the project got closer, even when it got started, he always replied and reassured me that "we will take care of you guys, dont you worry" and they did that and beyond. We never felt rushed,never felt pressured, gave us great advice even if we didn't go with there company Basetech on our 1st meeting. Peter and his crew Brian and Simon were amazing, they treated what I felt was a small backyard project as if they were working on a million dollar one. The workmanship, attention to detail, so approachable and just down to earth guys, you can't fake passion. Everyday we would recieve teachable lessons from the guys in how to maintain once the work was done,our corner lot and backyard is now a true transformation to what I always was hoping for, a perfect space of serenity. On one last note the guys started on our front steps, it wasn't even done and the amount of attention it received by people that stopped to ask and give Brian and Simon the praise that they deserve, these two guys are machines, this truly shows that Basetech was a perfect choice. Thank you again Peter, Brian and Simon, until the next project.

We had waterproofing done with manual excavation at the side of our house, due to the tight space. The workers were phenomenal - punctual, courteous and they took great care of my neighbour's property which was a huge concern for us. The entire job was completed in 2 days! This company came through for us as a referral from a neighbor and I can not say enough about them. Please do not look further. Their pricing is reasonable and when the unexpected happens they do not gauge you like I have heard others have done. Tony is a very honest businessman.
Other companies low balled our quote, suggesting to only waterproof a small portion of the side of our house; which was built in the 50s. After my investigation, it was not an option for us to only waterproof a portion. The entire side of the house had to be done. The other company was strictly looking for fast cash, kn0owing we were on a budget.

Basetech came out to see us and gave the most professional opinion and stressed how important it was to waterproof the entire side of the home. The clean up was perfect and we are so happy with their service. In future if other areas of the home need waterproofing this is the company we will use again - hands down!

I used BaseTech for both waterproofing and landscaping. I had a couple of basement leaks a few years back and they fixed the leaks and have had no issues since. Their work was impeccable.

I also just did a big landscaping job in my backyard and all I have to say is wow - these guys are top notch. They pay attention to detail, educate, are fair in pricing and do outstanding work.

After a recommendation from a friend, we hired BaseTech to waterproof our house. We had also contacted several other companies for quotes. Tony's quote was fair and honest. He didn't try to push us to do more than we needed to do.

His staff came on time to do the work and were absolutely amazing. They were personable, hard working and went above and beyond.

It's been two years since we had the house waterproofed and so far, so good. I didn't want to write a review right away, because with water, it can take time.

Recently, I had an issue with the battery backup and Tony came out within an hour to check. It was completely not Basetech's fault (it was an electical problem with an outlet) and, even still, Tony was so helpful.

I would highly recommend this company. Tony is one of the good guys.
