Lions View Chimney

Not sure if the other reviewers here have the right Lions View. Wonder if they're real...

Didn't show up when he said he would--then tried to change the quote mid job. We asked Myles to quote an extension on the original job. Next time he showed up he had all the materials and was about to start the extra work--quoting the price when he arrived with materials before we agreed. By that time were were looking forward to never seeing him again. Told him we'd get someone else to do the extra work at which point he was quite rude and packed up. He threatened that if decided to go forward with him on the extra work the price would double. Not sure how that situation actually played out in his mind but I would never trust this person.

Specific work he did do was ok in the end but the unnecessary hassle really tainted everything. We still refer Lions View as the worst of any of the trades we've had do work on our home. 1 Star.

Coincidently our roof had a leak in the area where the work was done on our chimney right after it was done. Don't want to point fingers but really fishy. That repair was a lot more than the chimney work.

Mortar of our fireplace chimney above the roof line was cracked and needed repointing. Myles took down the chimney and rebuilt that upper section making it as good as new. Very happy with workmanship and price. Flashing repair was recommended, explained, and done during rebuild
Would recommend Myles to anyone needing a mason

Myles has done on good job on replacing 3 chimney caps with flashing pans at our house. While removing the first chimney cap, Myles discovered that the flashing pans needed replacement as well (18 years old). As we are the type, "do it once, do it right" kind of people, we had him order the extra parts as well. He ordered all parts and had them installed promptly. Great guy to work with.

Myles fixed problems inside the fireplace and essentially rebuilt the chimney from the roofline up. He was easy to work with, flexible to schedule, and fair in price. I'm happy with the experience and end result. Definitely recommend him.

Myles and his crew showed up on time and completed all work within budget. He was very professional and courteous.
Actual cost was lower than an estimate, and we were happy with discount.

We have a wood heated home and needed a new fireplace and chimney. Lions View was highly recommended to us. Myles's extensive knowledge helped us determine the best product selection and options. To our dismay the product malfunctioned. Though the manufacturer did not come through, Myles did. Lions View replaced the fireplace, recertified the install and repaired the damage. No harm to the new hearth, hardwood floors or stone fireplace. Myles even made sure the indoor cats didn't escape :) Myles, you did an excellent job and it was very much appreciated. You are respectful and very, very competent.

Myles created a beautifully designed brick fireplace in our home.
He was neat, tidy and conscientious while doing the work.
He sealed off the area he was working in which resulted in minimal disruption to the house. He has a pleasant manner about him. Highly recommended.

The company owner was prompt with a quote, explained everything very clearly, showed up on time and completed the work on budget. The problem (water coming into house) was fixed and the work looks great too.
