My house was hit by hail last August and it was time to get a new roof. National Star stuck to their original quote, took off the damaged roof and hauled it away without leaving any mess. Then, while I was at work, they got the job done over a two day period.
It was like it never happened. Hard working and reliable, I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to keep a roof over his head. Check out their samples which range from traditional to contemporary. Talk to Sokol and tell him your concerns.

Sokol and his team showed up on a Monday morning. By the end of the day, the entire roof of my 1500 sq ft house and double garage was stripped of old shingles, new waterproof fabric installed, drip edge and new shingle and vents installed. Complete site cleanup was done to the point you wouldn't have known they were here.
Sokol came back the next day to paint a metal vent that was not replaced as it was old school and couldn't be replaced.
They even loved my dog!

We have our 25 year old roof replaced with new shingles. Sokol was very clear about the estimate and gave us a good price on the job. We have signed the contract at the very end of February and could get some discount due to the low season. When the weather was good Sokol let us know 3 days before the work was planned. It took the team less than 2 days to finish our about 3000 sq foot roof. In the end of both days the crew cleaned the area before leaving. All in all we were very pleased with the job. Everything looks very straight and plum and very professionally done. Sokol was also very nice to give us an extra package of shingles just in case.

The men on his team are very polite and friendly and did the work in the time they said they would. The clean on both days was superb. They not leave one piece of garbage and they sweep everywhere. They also go around with magnets not once but twice to ensure there are no nails left.

Aftercare has been superb too. I would recommend this company to anyone. If I ever move and need a new roof I would not go anywhere else.

After a chain of middle summer hail storms we were really concerned about our aging roof as a lot of roofs in our neighborhood were damaged. We contacted our local insurance office and they recommended hiring an inspector before filing a claim to make sure that roof was really hail damaged. After researching on Home Stars we contacted National Star Roofing as they seemed to have a best combination of good reviews and other criteria’s we were looking at and we did not get disappointed. Sokol contacted us promptly and scheduled an inspection for the same day. Next day we were already filing a claim with insurance company. Inspection report and attached photos were good enough for insurance company to pay the claim without doing their own inspection. They only asked for detailed estimate which Sokol promptly provided. The biggest delay was a wait for an insurance check (we used it to finally decide on color and Sokol was able to help us to settle on color which we still both like ) and once it arrived the team was on the roof. The whole roof (mid sized 2 storey house) was done in a single day (actually they started at 9 am and left just before 5pm). Roof looks beautiful, materials and workmanship were excellent and we could not be happier. Site was left absolutely clean and we know what we are talking about – less then month before our roof was done our direct neighbors changed their as well – and we were finding nails and screws for weeks after that not to mention that all area between houses was covered with loose granules. Overall we would evaluate our experience with National Star Roofing as 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend them to anybody who wants to have the best roof at a most reasonable cost with least possible troubles.

We were in need of an estimate on an emergency basis and Sokol came to the rescue. I received a very reasonable quote and within a few days had a new roof! The work was completed efficiently with attention to quality workmanship. I was very impressed with the clean up on the job site, having children I was a little worried but there wasn't a nail in sight!! I can say without hesitation that I would recommend this company to everyone. National Star Roofing definitely excels in customer service and quality of workmanship.
