After a chain of middle summer hail storms we were really concerned about our aging roof as a lot of roofs in our neighborhood were damaged. We contacted our local insurance office and they recommended hiring an inspector before filing a claim to make sure that roof was really hail damaged. After researching on Home Stars we contacted National Star Roofing as they seemed to have a best combination of good reviews and other criteria’s we were looking at and we did not get disappointed. Sokol contacted us promptly and scheduled an inspection for the same day. Next day we were already filing a claim with insurance company. Inspection report and attached photos were good enough for insurance company to pay the claim without doing their own inspection. They only asked for detailed estimate which Sokol promptly provided. The biggest delay was a wait for an insurance check (we used it to finally decide on color and Sokol was able to help us to settle on color which we still both like ) and once it arrived the team was on the roof. The whole roof (mid sized 2 storey house) was done in a single day (actually they started at 9 am and left just before 5pm). Roof looks beautiful, materials and workmanship were excellent and we could not be happier. Site was left absolutely clean and we know what we are talking about – less then month before our roof was done our direct neighbors changed their as well – and we were finding nails and screws for weeks after that not to mention that all area between houses was covered with loose granules. Overall we would evaluate our experience with National Star Roofing as 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend them to anybody who wants to have the best roof at a most reasonable cost with least possible troubles.
