Fortress Windows & Doors

We had a very cold bedroom that had not been used for a several years. Steve at Fortress gave us a few options. We went with the triple pane glass, re-insulation and entire frame replacement. The results were excellent! The room is now a very comfortable temperature and we can finally make use of it once again!
The work was done very professionally and neatly. No mess left behind. We are extremely pleased and would gladly refer them to any friends and relatives. Thanks so much!

Richard and his team were professional and responsive from the time I reached out to them until the job was done. I had two new bathroom windows installed (new cutouts and framing), closing an existing window and replacing one as well. The windows were ordered and arrived when it was promised and their install crew were one of the most friendly of all the contractors we’ve had since renovating. For the two days it took to complete the job, they kept our house tidy throughout the process.

We would definitely recommend Richard and his team if you have a window project!

Extremely happy with the service I received from Richard at Fortress. Their product , workmanship and speedy service was very much appreciated. They were in and out and left our place spotless.

We have a country home with a magnificent view, but our old second floor windows were foggy and draughty. I contacted and received quotes from five large window vendors (including the B company that advertises everywhere). The window construction was virtually identical from all the big window companies, but the prices quoted ranged from $6k - $11k. Most of the suppliers insisted on including complete frame replacements. Steve, from Fortress said this was not necessary and knowing about our home construction, I agreed.
The installation was done today and I am impressed with the quality of the window construction and the professionalism of the installers. They went above and beyond. The edge sealing and sill capping is flawless.
In the future Fortress will be the first and only window and door company I will call.

Very happy with the job and a pleasure working with these people. We had the front door, and living room and kitchen windows replaced. Being an older home, nothing seemed square, however the installer did a super job, and simply would not leave until everything hung and worked perfectly. Excellent workmanship. Priced well, delivered when promised, and left the place clean and tidy. I would highly recommend them.

Saw Steve's flyer in a local publication and gave them a call. Very courteous and flexible with meeting me and discussing the product. Where it is manufactured, where the material is from, what best suited my needs, and the most important, the cost. I liked that it is a family business, as Steve's nephew Dave installed our window and was very professional, clean and with great attention to detail. I also really like that the payment option was etransfer as I do not go to a bank very often. Also, I had an emergency arise out of the day of the original installation and Steve was able to quickly accommodate me for another day; which I really appreciated. Even though my job was small they still treated it with priority and I really appreciate it. I will definitely be replacing other windows with them in the future. I have had an amazing experience with this company. Richard was very helpful and responsive. Of the three different company I spoke with, I felt most comfortable with Richard. He explained to me all my options and made very insightful recommendations. He also went out of his way to remedy a small situation quite quickly that would have taken the manufacturer a much longer time to fix.

Dave who installed my doors and window did a fantastic job. He was fast and thorough. He went out of his way to dress my door frame that was on the inside of the garage door even though I originally said it wasn't necessary.

I would certainly recommend these guys and use them again in the future.

I had a great experience with Steve and Richard from Fortress. I had a challenging situation when the bottom of my wood board and batten and the strapping behind the siding was eaten by termites.
Steve listened to a suggested solution, investigated some repair material options and made recommendations re the fix. Mid repair they had to switch gears and change their plan to ensure the best possible outcome and they did it without hesitation.
They were a pleasure to deal with and the repair looks great. I hope to be able to use Steve and his team for future work at my house.
