Thanks, most importantly your roof was completely animal proofed in the process. Since you had on going squirrel issues, custome made steel drip edge was installed at all eaves edges and the good steel vents and exhaust vents were installed. limiting any chance of a "call back" is the goal and should be for any trades company.

Hi, removing and replacing materials is just one part of the job. More so on older houses, we need to re organized the ventilation, re-work the exhaust pipes, lift dipping raters, and change roof decking. What we do is try and rectify any potential issues in the process of completeing your job.

Hi Jill, thanks for the review , it was our pleaseure. We modified part of your roof line to ensure you had positive water flow and to prevent ice build up in a trouble area,re -directed your bathroom fan/ exhusted it out the roof through a insulated house and exhust vent, changed a number of sheets of plywood, wrapped all the walls, eaves etc in ice and water shield and re- organized the attic ventilation. . . so rest assure you will be dry this winter.

Hi Jim, some houses/roofs call for tweak in the normal product and installation process, you house was one of those roofs that needed a little extra thought to give you and extra 5 years at the tail end of the roofs life, and extra security for ourselves knowing that you wont end up with a premature leaking roof. Your house is less than a 412 pitch, Board roof and buried under some of the most and tallest trees I've seen (in Ontario). Since your previous roof had nails popping up through the shingles we chose do use Owens corning duration shingles, and all of the installers were made conscious of their nail placement, every nail needed placed solidly into the roof board and the OC shingles have a fabric strip which is not only the best nailing surface but it provides a phenomenal adhesion surface for the tar strip, almost cementing the nail head in place and sealing it from snow and ice.

We also used the thickest underlayment on the market, added 4 animal proof vents and because of the amount of tree debris that is due to fall, we cemented all of the the flanges on the vents, exhaust vents and pipe covers before installing them. This is so you will never have a leak at those protrusions due to a debris build up.
