Thanka Charles, most problems are easy to diagnos, but most people arent willing to dig deep into the attic, especially on a hot day. Alot of roof issues are related to condensation, when there is a hot air release(in the winter) freezing will take place, this rotts the wood (roof deck) over time, which sags the roof and then water starts to fall into the attic. Im glad we were able to fix the issue, we love roofing in the Orchard in Burlington as our office is right down the steet. Hi Thanks for the review, when you think about doing your roof, you need to think about a 3 part system and they all work hand in hand. The "roofing" (shingles, underlayment etc.) shed the precipitation away from entering the house , replacing and opening up the soffits allow cool air to enter the attic and circulate the hot air out the roof vents and the insulation prevents an excess amount of warm air from entering into the attic in the winter ( which causes frost build up on the underside of the roof sheathing). If you fail to have all 3 of these working simultaneously then the roof, roof deck and insulation loose some of their life expectancy. So I'm glad we were able to complete 2 jobs for you, and We always recommend "Eco Home comfort" for your insulation needs so please don't hesitate to call them for an inspection if the insulation hasn't been topped up/replaced in the last 15-20 years
