Polar Spas

0 out of 5 stars. Traded up to their zero gravity massage chair. Broke down after 4 months. After a year of constant phone calls and broken promises was given a brand new chair. All good for another 4 months till it also broke down. Was told warranty over. Now am stuck with a $5000.00 peice of junk that cannot be repaired. Should have gone to Costco. Worst experience of my life.

Stay Away!!! Have had nothing but problems with our hot tub since we purchased it. It has been a year and with countless service calls and even a replacement our tub is still not working. They are not returning emails or calls. All around would never recommend or purchase from them ever again!!!

Wow i wish i had read the reviews on this company before I purchased my tub. I can say that the feeling I got dealing with the sales staff should have been my first clue as to what the company was like......dont understand the mentality of an owner who does not have used tubs ready for sale when a customer walks in the door. No, the deal is pay half and then wait, and wait,,, dont know what calander is used there but last time i looked three weeks on my calander was 21 days.... not 40-50 days.... oh and Im told that the service person for the used tubs only works 3 days a week....very wise for a business with all sorts of service problems to have a 1/2 time employees. When we were lucky enough to get our tub home ( after two 8 hour trips) the cover was locked on and there was no key?? So now not only did we wait for our tub but we have to wait for canada post. Just love all these 1st world problems....

Five years ago I purchased a hot tub from Polar spas. We loved our hot tub, however the service for the first few years was very frustrating. This summer I was hesitant to request another service call but since i had purchased an extended warranty decided to anyways. This time i very surprised to see how quickly the turn around time was and how polite the service staff were. The new administrator had informed me they had completely reorganized their entire department to serve their clients better. Any company that will promote change to help me out i highly recommend. I now can relax in spa with out any worry. I would definitely go back to Polar Spas.

I have had my Atlantis for 5 years now and still love it. My boyfriend and I use it on a regular basis. When it had a leak I found the service department to be very helpful. Despite what other people may be saying, I found the service employees to be very sincere in wanting to help me out. They walked me through a service request online and had someone out to look at my spa as soon as possible. I would recommend the service department of Polar Spas to anyone needing help with their hot tub. Being a business owner myself, I think people just need to be more understanding that they are a small business with limited staff and are doing their best to help their clients.

I am happy with the product overall, but the service end is terrible. I had the tub installed, and there were issues with the water clarity and smell. my calls always seemed to go to an automated system, and when I did get in touch with someone they were not helpful and basically said it must be how I am using or treating the unit. After many calls, and even one to the owner, I was able to get someone out, and in 5 minutes he said "oh, the one way valve is in backwards" and it was solved. this took like 2 months though before he came.
The one way valve is a POS anyway, and basically gums up and stops working. I took it out altogether and the thing functions fine.
My friend also bought a tub from there, and his water had problems too. he also couldn't get help from the service dept. I told him to just take the valve out and his works now too.
Like I said, the product is not too bad, but you need to be your own tech, they are not well run.
I would try anywhere else first if I had to do it again.

I purchased my Zero Gravity Massage Chair at the end of May and I love it! I sit in it almost every day, and it has helped greatly with my stiff back. My wife and kids enjoy it very much as well and also use it regularly. I found the sales team very helpful, especially Chris, who had previously sold me my swim spa. We had a rocky start but Chris did everything in his power to smooth things out. I would recommend both Polar Spas as well as the massage chair to everybody.

We bought a hot tub in October 2013 and paid it in full up front (bad idea). The product was never delivered as per an email from the salesperson that we'd receive it December 2013. We never saw our tub and were either ignored or treated disrespectfully , including a threat over the phone from the owner that he would sue us if we were successful in getting chargebacks on our credit cards. My BBB complaint with the full details (complaint #1652584) was ignored by the company. Well, we were successful in the credit card chargeback process because Polar failed to deliver a product that was paid in full, but there is still $1,000 from my chequing account that I could never recover. In my opinion this is theft. Its been nearly a year now and all I can say is avoid this company, I don't think they deserve your business or hard-earned money. I regret giving them mine.

My husband and I just purchased a new Bullfrog Hot Tub from Polar Spas and were very satisfied with our experience from the time of purchase up until the delivery of our Spa. The staff at Polar Spas took the time to fully educate us on our hot tub, and walked us through the care of our spa again when it was delivered. Since it was delivered we have used it almost daily. Thanks Polar Spas!
