Lowe's

My wife and I ordered Hunter Douglas wood blinds from Lowes. Installer came in finished the job over two days. Some deficiencies with the blinds but nothing major. He did leave a mess on our front porch and family room floor and parked on the driveway blocking my wife. I think the thing that most annoyed was that the sales lady/installer assured us that there was an app that would allow us to control the power tilt blinds. However, we found out that there wasn't and we'd have to purchase another product. Outside of that, the blinds turned out pretty well and the time it took to install them exceeded our expectations. For the price and time it took between when we ordered them and had them actually installed and some of the grief they caused in between, I would possibly have gotten some quotes elsewhere. But as the saying goes: You do get what you pay for.

There is a wonderful young lady named Amanda that works out of the kitchen department of Lowes Etobicoke. She helped me configure, calculate, and order new cabinet doors for my kitchen recently. She was extremely patient and kind and spent a lot of time making sure all of the measurements were correct. She even emailed and spoke to the cabinet company personally to ensure they would make my Lazy Susan cabinet door correctly. I didn't expect this kind of quality customer service in a big box store:)

We had Cindy from the new Lowe's help us plan and design our new kitchen cabinets. We went with cherry KraftMaid cabinets and are thrilled with the results. Lowe's (mostly Cindy!) was responsive and helpful throughout the process. We made some last minute changes and they were easily able to accomodate us. The guys they sub-ed the cabinet install to (Grant and Daryl) were fantastic, 10 out of 10 for them.
