Humber Valley Landscaping

We could not be happier with our landscape project completed by Humber Valley. Our project was large, including driveway, 2 walkways, gardens and grass. We had a vision of what we wanted, and the outcome surpassed our expectations. Chris worked with us to develop a design based on our ideas and his expertise. The project was done on time. Chris and his crew are amazing; they were very respectful of our & our neighbours’ properties. As with any project, changes always have to be made along the way, and the team were adaptable whenever any came along. Excellent experience working with Humber Valley.

Our project entailed a complete landscape of front and backyard which included regrading back with retaining walls, multiple stone patios, natural stone stairs, with lighting and plantings. Chris and his team were great to deal with. They were honest and reliable, completed work on-time and on budget and most important did a fantastic job. We really appreciate Chris' focus on quality work and not just telling us what we wanted to hear. Chris was on-site every day and kept us informed throughout. We are extremely happy with the work and would not hesitate to recommend HVL to others.

We were referred to HVLandscaping and were incredibly satisfied with their entire process. From the first phone call they were very responsive and professional. Chris was out at our house promptly and provided details and ideas for a new retaining wall, appropriate plants given existing large trees and heavily shaded areas. His team was onsite on the day that we agreed and completed the project in a timely manner. We have received a number of compliments on the retaining wall and planting in the front yard and are very pleased with the product and value for it.

Our very long flagstone front path was in shambles. Chris provided us with a few options for repairing/fixing. He was able to quickly fit us into his busy schedule and we had a new beautiful path to show off in no time! The onsite crew were polite and always left the site spic and span! Chris and his team were amazing to work with. They were really professional did a fabulous job on both the front and backyard for us. We've received a ton of compliments on the work and would highly recommend them to anyone.

HVL, recommended to us by a landscape designer, came in with a competitive quote and the best understanding of the scope of work for our front yard. The project entailed take down of porch pillars, excavation, stone masonry, steel reinforced concrete forms, new cedar custom pillars, plantings, and exterior low voltage lighting.

The work was so well done that we had HVL do our backyard the following year with an ontario stone porch landing, interlocking patio, garden beds, plants and lighting.

Both projects started and ended in the projected time frames and the job sites were left , each day, safe and clean. The crew arrived early every day and worked long hours with great productivity. The execution of the foundational elements was excellent and now, a few years later, all elements remain true, level and show now sign of shifting.

The sourcing of materials was end of season (front ) then early season (back yard) and HVL did a great job of resourcing the right stone and plant material.

A nice touch was a few years later, HVL working on a neighbours propoerty, topped up our mulch, no charge and no fuss , .. just a quiet gesture -Thank You!

Chris and his team at HVL were a pleasure to do business with and met all of my needs.
