HVL, recommended to us by a landscape designer, came in with a competitive quote and the best understanding of the scope of work for our front yard. The project entailed take down of porch pillars, excavation, stone masonry, steel reinforced concrete forms, new cedar custom pillars, plantings, and exterior low voltage lighting. The work was so well done that we had HVL do our backyard the following year with an ontario stone porch landing, interlocking patio, garden beds, plants and lighting. Both projects started and ended in the projected time frames and the job sites were left , each day, safe and clean. The crew arrived early every day and worked long hours with great productivity. The execution of the foundational elements was excellent and now, a few years later, all elements remain true, level and show now sign of shifting. The sourcing of materials was end of season (front ) then early season (back yard) and HVL did a great job of resourcing the right stone and plant material. A nice touch was a few years later, HVL working on a neighbours propoerty, topped up our mulch, no charge and no fuss , .. just a quiet gesture -Thank You!
