Mighty Movers

It was my first time with Mighty Movers. My lawyer suggested this company for me and she was absolutely right. I was overwhelmed by moving all my boxes to my new place, But the gentle men in this company starting from who answered my phone calls and e-mails to who moved my stuff, made this mission easy in perfect time as they promised me.

Pros - Great workers, strong and knowledgeable. Got the move done in good time, with no damages or any major hiccups. Hardworking and capable workers. They were also very genuine and nice people.

Cons - Two hidden fees not mentioned ever in the quotes: 10% surcharge on the entire bill for fuel, even if the moving distance was 2kms! This was later reduced to 5%, but still not at all reasonable given that this was not mentioned by the quotes provided by the owner, William Perisa. His quote also claimed there would be a small traveling time from their office to my old place. This distance was under 12 kms, but charged a full hour for the travel! The total charge before tips was $850 for a small move (2 bedroom, within the same neighborhood), so not a cheap moving company!

Overall, the company was a bit shady for its charges, but had the best employees otherwise.

I hired these guys to move a large glass fish tank from my garage to my basement. This included carrying approximately 400 pounds of glass down 14 stairs. Mighty Movers sent out three of their guys and they had this move done in about 45 minutes. I asked them if they would consider placing the glass Aquarium on its stand and they even carried that to the basement without being asked. These guys were great, they arrived on time, were very professional and were very respectful. The next time I need something like that moved again, I would hire them in an instant.

Mighty Movers moved our office move last weekend and did an amazing job!! We completely dropped the ball in setting up the move and rather than coming in to simply move the boxes and furniture onto the truck they were faced with helping us pack. Rather than balking, Derek and his crew rolled up their sleeves and got right in there. They worked nights and weekends on what was to be a day job to get it done. With every obstacle that came up during the move they gracefully maneuvered through it. It was very reassuring flying out that Friday night with the move not even half under way because I knew Bill, the owner, and Derek and his crew would do a superb job. And they did. They worked all weekend and we're even able to help us with carpentry work at our new space. At every turn Bill and Derek were like, 'we'll take care of you. Whatever you need'. It was a true pleasure. They took a botched planning job and made it look seamless and worry free. I'd highly recommend them and on our next move no more hunting around for three quotes. Mighty Movers is our hands down choice. No questions asked.

I used this moving company last month for the first time. I was really stressed (as many during moving) but the guys were really professional and understanding. They were punctual, polite. They work fast so they make your money worth the time. The price that I got compared to other companies was a lot better and the service was great! You really get what they promise! I will definitely use this company in the future.

I really needed to let everyone know what a great moving company this is. I traveled to Vancouver from the States to help my cousin move. She had a lot of heavy furniture as well as, what seemed to be, a never ending collection of stuff. Driving to pick up the moving truck I saw a Mighty Movers truck and thought...That's what we need. I contacted them and as it was the end of the month, they were swamped. They still managed to call in an extra crew. Jason and Shawn showed up at 7:00 PM on a Sunday night. They had all the big stuff loaded in a flash and then helped load everything else. They even managed to adjust there schedule so that they could be in Langley at 8:00 AM the next day to help unload. I would highly recommend Mighty Movers to anyone and everyone for any type of moving job. Shawn and Jason were carefully professional and great to work with. Moving is can be very stressful..these guys worked hard to make it comfortable. Thanks so much. Mighty Movers was a mighty big blessing!

I hired Mighty Movers to move our stuff at the end of July and was very happy with everything.
We found Bill the manager to be a very honest guy who really cared about us.
I would recommend them and will be calling them again if we move again.

This is my second time using Mighty Movers, I will use them again and recommend them to others. If they quote you a price, that is the price. I had 3 guys help me out and they did a great job, didn't play around, did the job fast and careful.

Mighty Movers were recommended to me by a friend who had just recently moved and had used this moving company. After getting a few estimates from other companies, for what we had to move (furniture only, no boxes etc), Mighty Movers was the most reasonable. The 3 moving guys arrived right on schedule, ready to go. They were courteous, organized and hardworking. All of our furniture arrived safe and sound at our new home--no damage and unloaded in a timely manner. They made our moving experience a good one. After our move, William touched base with us to make sure all went well. We highly recommend William and his crew at Mighty Movers.
