I used this company when I moved into my home. I was impressed with the designers ability to assist me find the right product for my windows . Her suggestions were practical considering I have 4 small kids . One year later and I am still loving everything. My biggest concern was quality when I was shopping around. This company really came through and delivered exceptional quality product. Thank You

I hired Model Space Designs to make some curtains for me that I then installed myself and I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the experience. While I found the designer helpful and easy to work with, I also felt that the quality wasn’t the greatest and especially for the price, which I felt was a little high. If I needed similar work done in the future, I don’t think I’d use their services again.

I hired Model Space Design to come out to my cottage and do some work and I couldn’t be more impressed. Not only was the finished product fantastic, but when they came to do the work there was a huge storm, which took out the electricity. After donning some helmet flashlights and using only hand powered tools they went to work and the final product was still superb!

I have used Model Space Designs several times for different drapes and window coverings and have been happy to keep going back! They were responsive, really great at judging space and personal style in order to make appropriate design suggestions and they were flexible on time in order to fit my schedule.

We hired Model Space Designs based on their positive reviews on Homestars. The quote was good, the installation was great, and no problems with our roman blinds since the install over 2 months ago. We have more windows that need attention, and will be using them again down the road.

I saw great reviews for Model Space Designs and decided to give them a shot after being dissatisfied with the suggestions and prices of another company I had a consultation with. They provided great ideas and worked within my budget. The installer was also excellent and overall I am pleased with the outcome.

We hired Model Space Designs to install some roller blinds - a simple job made more difficult by the renovations that were being done simultaneously - and had a great experience. Though it was a lengthy correspondence due to the fact that we were still undecided on what exactly we wanted, Sarah remained patient, helpful and informative. She brought swatches, exchanged emails and was flexible with timing, working around our schedule. Once everything was decided upon the installation was quick and clean and we are very happy with the results.

I used Model Space Designs to hang some blackout curtains in my kids’ rooms and I really can’t say enough about how great the experience was! Sarah was just incredible - I was really worried about the measurements, since the windows are curved and I didn’t want any gaps for light to get through, but I had nothing to worry about since she was incredibly thorough and precise. Not only were they measured perfectly, but she was exceptionally helpful in helping me choose colours, patters, etc. - making suggestions, even using a tablet to show pictures so I had better ability to visualize the final product. Sarah was extremely reliable, personable and flexible - she told me the curtains would arrive in 6 weeks and sure enough they did, but when I had a problem with my painter she offered to store the curtains until I was ready to have them installed. Really painless process with no surprises.

Model Space Designs really is head and shoulders above competitors. The owner, Sarah, is a fantastic person to work with. She takes the time to help select colours and styles, offering her opinion while still being open to hear and value your opinion. If there is a problem she does her best to rectify the situation in a fast and efficient manner - all the while staying below or matching competitor prices. The installer, Mike, is also fantastic. I have used Model Space more than once and will again - she’s even working on curtains for my daughter’s new condo as we speak!
