The boys at JMT came in on a Tuesday and had my entire roof replaced by Wednesday evening along with my gutters. The staff were very professional and knowledgable. John, the owner was there every step of the way and overlooked the entire project. John answered all my concerns professionally and is very pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend JMT to everyone for all your roofing needs.

We had been contemplating replacing our 23 year old cedar shake roof and decided this was the summer to get it done. JMT was referred to us by a friend who had use their services a few years ago.. We met a couple of roofing guys to get quotes etc. decided to go with JMT. It was a great decision! JMT is very passionate about the roofing business and you can tell the way they work with energy and attention to detail. The crew is hard working and very professional .. It took them 2 days to get the bulk of the roof completed. The crew worked tirelessly up to 12-14 hours a day . They would clean up around the house before packing up for the day. John would be present throughout the process to inspect and make sure things were going as planned. He suggested getting new skylights and changing the gutters, which we did.
He recommended the colours, which look fantastic. The overall experience was excellent . We were glad we picked JMT... We are now the envy of the neighbourhood with the best looking roof !

Based on excellent reviews on Homestars, we called John from JMT Roofing regarding a new roof conversion of our 21 year-old cedar roof to asphalt and new gutters. From the first moment we met John we knew that we had made an excellent decision. John carefully reviewed our options for a new asphalt roof and gutters and eventually new skylights. His quote was reasonable and well within what we had expected. We have a very large roof and John kindly prioritized us to begin within 3 days. His excellent crew arrived promptly on Monday and the work proceeded with efficiency and professionalism and by Thursday we had a beautiful new roof, skylights and gutters. There were no problems whatsoever and the cleanup was impeccable. John and his team are true professionals. John is personally involved in his crews' work and is meticulous down to the last small details. Thank you John and JMT Roofing and we are planning to call next summer regarding the painting of the exterior of our home.

John and his crew were awesome. Showed up on time and left late. Got new roof and gutters put on in 2 days. Everything looks great. They even designed a cool downspout for my rain barrel. Cleaned up at the end of each day. I received quotes from 2 other companies, but John gave us the best price. Very happy customer!

We were in the process of looking for a company to replace the asphalt roof and gutters on our home, and began the process of acquiring estimates from a number of reputable roofing companies. It didn't take long to realize that JMT would be the right company for the job.

In talking to John, it was apparent he "knew his stuff" and was very experienced in his trade. You could sense the pride and professionalism he has built the reputation of his name and company on.

His quote was excellent, and he promised he could get started the next week, and that the job would be done in a day or two. This was one of the factors in selecting John, as other contractors had about a month delay before they could start work.

John exceeded expectations by actually scheduling his crew to come in just two days later. The contract was signed Tuesday, they started work on Thursday, and the job was done and complete by Thursday night!

John and his crew arrived promptly at 7 am as promised and the job, as mentioned, was complete the same day. The crew was just as professional as John was. It was comforting to see the business owner onsite throughout the day to ensure his quality and standards were met.

JMT went the extra mile by installing new vents, painting the stack to match to look new, installing diversions to guide the flow of water, installing new flashing around the chimney and doing an excellent job on the installation of the roof and gutters. The quality of JMT's work is exceptional.

I will definitely recommend John and JMT Roofing & Painting to family and friends looking to have their roof redone.

Well it was finally time for us to replace the cedar roof on our 22 year old house, and after doing the usual research (internet reviews, BBB, etc) we selected three creditable firms to quote the work.

I have a background in construction management and am familiar with construction, trades, contacts, etc. so was fully expecting to go through the multi firm quote process before selecting a company. When I first called John at JMT, he responded to my inquiry within an hour, and came by our house the next day to take a look at our roof. After meeting with John and reviewing our scope, I made the immediate decision to cancel the other pending roofing quotes and signed JMT up for our roof and gutter replacement. This was based in part because John had responded so quickly, and arrived with a satellite image of our roof and material takeoff already prepared, and provided a rough estimate that was well within the range I expected for this scope of work. John was also very friendly and helpful and took extra time to help my wife and I select the type and color roof and gutters, and even provided locations of other installations for us to drive by and look at to assist in our decision making process.

Shortly after finalizing the contract, the work was scheduled and the crews arrived on time at 7:00 AM on the designated start day, and in less than 3 days the entire roof and gutters on the house had been replaced and looked fantastic. The arrival of the crews, materials, cranes, bins etc was very well coordinated and gave a strong sense of a well run and experienced roofing company.

The work progressed very quickly and with high attention to detail, and the crew was very hard working, friendly and took the time to ensure our yard was cleaned up at the end of working long hard days.

As a homeowner I can safely say that my wife and I are thrilled at our decision to select JMT roofing, and as a construction manager I am impressed by professionalism and capability of John and his hard working quality roofing firm.

If we had to do it all again, we would not change a thing and give JMT roofing our highest recommendation.

There is nothing here that's not been said before about JMT roofing. John and his super crew did a fabulous job to convert the old cedar roofing into asphalt roofing on our house. Excellent workmanship and work ethic, always polite and courteous, and always give a progress update at the end of each day. Go with these guys, you can't go wrong with JMT roofing. Highly recommended.

Needed a new start for my roof, gutters and fascia board and found out about John and his crew from a co-worker that had his gutters done and was extremely happy with the service and cost. Setting up a meeting with John to get a quote was easy and quick. He was honest and helpful in explaining what needed to be done and where we could save costs. The work was done extremely well and in a timely manner. John and his crew not only provided me with a great product, they also cleaned everything up extremely well which I find is a small thing that a lot of contractors don't do as well as they should. Very pleased with how the roof turned out. The owner John was very helpful in answering any questions that we may have and providing any pictures as the work was done. Roof was done in 4 days, will definitely recommend this company to any friends or family in the future.

Our neighbors were having their roof done, and recommended JMT. We were pleased with the results on their house, and decided to go with them. I'm glad we did.

Our house is a 3000 square foot home with a 21 year old shake roof. Despite this, they got the entire job done within two days.They even took the time to make sure that our plants and windows weren't damaged by falling shingles. They also thoroughly cleaned up all the shingles and bits of wood after the job was completed.

John doesn't just have employees, he has a team of professionals. It's clear that he treats them with care, and in return, they care about the job. I've seen people work late hours, but I can't recall ever seeing people so happy to do it, or a work crew so friendly.
