14 years ago Burgess built a bedroom and bathroom in our unfinished basement. Now we are having to rip out two walls, part of the closet, and re-frame the room to ensure it is both to code and properly insulated and framed. Initially we thought just the windows were leaking but when the drywall under the windows was removed, ice, at times an inch or two thick was revealed. Both outer walls are heavily frosted. The insulation and vapour barrier were not properly installed, causing serious issues inside the wall. Also the electrical wires are all loose in the wall, not attached to or passing through the studs. The walls are all black with mildew, the fiberglass is frozen to the wall, ice and frost is covering all the walls.

We decided to sell our condo and get back into a house. We looked at semi detached and detached homes and found the prices prohibitive. We owned an older detached home and a friend suggested that we consider renovating it for our own use. After looking around, we contracted Burgess Enterprises to do a complete renovation. The house was gutted and completely redone including adding 500 square feet to the existing structure as well as new siding on the house and garage. We waited almost a year to write this review to allow for any complaints we may have. We had 3 minor concerns that Burgess Enterprises corrected immediately and at no cost to us. We are very satisfied with the work Keith Burgess and his team of professionals did for us. We have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I can't say enough about Keith's team, his foreman Shane, and all the tradesmen. We originally hired Burgess Enterprises to do a basement reno years ago, and were extremely happy with the result and their professionalism. So when we wanted to do a major reno to our house, Burgess Enterprises was the natural choice. We did shop around, but Keith had better design ideas and we ended up with a much better home than even we originally planned. One of our challenges was we had a wall with a mural I painted on it that had to be moved. Keith's team managed to demo the back side of the wall and move it with no damage to the mural! When on site his team were always awesome to have around. They were polite, courteous, and kept the worksite clean. The quality of their work is fantastic, and Keith inspects it to ensure everything is perfect. You can't go wrong with them.

this was our second time with the company. We loved them so much, we hired them again to do renovations for us. Their work was high quality and they are very professional. They are very mindful that they are in our house and they make sure that they keep it clean. They also keep us informed of the ongoing process as the project progresses. They work within the budget that was set at the beginning. And they actually finished ahead of schedule. We are very impressed with the results!
