Don came at short notice and did a great job. Don answered all our question and explained everything he did, at the end we got a CD with all the pictures Don took during the inspection and email with the full report. Further Don, answered a few questions we had via text after the inspection was over. Highly recommended.

Don McKechnie is an interesting and knowledgable inspector and can clearly handle curveballs. I had him inspect a condo purchase and while it might have been overkill, he was thorough and made some interesting and concerning observations that I would have otherwise missed.

I have no hesitation recommending Don, he's a flexible guy and adjust to your needs accordingly.

Don saved us from buying a money pit back in May. He leaves no stone unturned and his experience in this field is so evident. In the house we just purchased in south Ajax, Don made excellent observations and recommendations. You get a very comprehensive package including pics to aid your decision. Don is really good. He shows up at 10AM on time, very kind and knowledgeable. The exam is thorough and he found a lot of issues, all documented with photos and explained to me in details. It was on a Sunday morning and because we had a very tight deadline to decide if we waive the condition, Don worked in the Sunday afternoon to write the report and sent it to us. Don's work goes above and way beyond my expectations. Would definitely recommand him to anyone.

Booked POMHII for a home inspection in Milton. Don was very thorough and patiently went over everything in great amount of detail. He caught a couple of issues (mold in the cold cellar, underpowered AC, etc) and saved me $$. Would highly recommend him to everyone.

I would highly recommend Don for any home inspection. We were cobsidering the purchase of a resale home in Whitby and were worried about the foundation. Our last experience with a home inspector was very disappointing.

Don was waiting for us at the site on time and was very professional. He walked us through everything he was going to inspect and generally told us how the inspection would be conducted. The home owners were in the house so Don advised us before the inspection that it would be best to discuss any concerns after the inspection at a local coffee shop.

His inspection was very thorough, he was very well versed in building codes and regulations. He gave us honest answers to our questions and made suggestions to improve any issues he found.

Overall the inapection went great and we were able to go through with the purchase knowing that there were no major items to worry about.

P.S. Don.. the home owners confirmed they are having all the windows replaced not fixed :)woooo whooo!
