This was the 2nd home purchase that we had Don Inspect and we are glad we did. He was very thorough he saw things that I had missed on the walk through. He even went as far to squeeze behind the furnace to inspect the outside wall. He also informed us of the minimum height required for basement apartments... This house was illegal! and could not be legalized with out major reno`s. He saved us some major head aches and money. We have now found a home that is even more ideal for us :)

Don provided us with a home inspection for our first home. His inspection of the home was very thorough and he identified short and long term costs associated with the home. He also provided practical advice on how to resolve the issues identified. Additionally, Don surpassed my expectations by providing very helpful information that we as new home owners wouldn't have otherwise been aware of. We needed a home inspection done a conditional purchase. Don showed up early and started the inspection of the roof and outside of the house until we showed up. He explained everything he found and everything he was looking for during his inspection. He was thorough and gave suggestions on what fixes should be done and how much they may cost. We showed the report of the home inspection to the current home owners and they were surprised to see items on there that their home inspector never noticed when they purchased the house 2 years prior. Overall, we were very pleased with Don and would not hesitate to recommend him.

We made an offer on a home conditional on inspection and being new to the area had no idea where to find someone to do it. My agent blindly selected Don based on his Homestars rating and the fact that he answered the phone when called (I not he may not always answer the phone since he told me during the inspection he doesn't take calls while working - lucky us I guess).
We scheduled Don to come by 3 days hence and he was there right on time. Started out taking pictures right away and let me get intimately involved with the gory details of everything. He was focused right from the get-go.
Needless to say, the inspection was worth every penny. We didn't find anything to sink the deal but we did cut multiples of the cost of the inspection from the selling price, so the inspection certainly paid for itself.
Don is obviously quite passionate, has a great sense of humour, and is very clear about everything. I'll be calling him back certainly once I start tearing things apart as he was curious to see what is behind certain DIY gaffs inside the home.
In addition to all his findings, he's made recommendations for improvement as well as referring me to people in the area to start with for getting work done. Thank you Don!

Truly professional and 100% thorough. I would use him again hands down. He also saved us several thousand dollars in credits because of what he found in the home inspection. We were able to go back to the seller with this info. I also liked the opportunity to know the house from top to bottom before moving in.

I was in the market for a reliable, professional inspector to evaluate my new condo. I found this company on Home Stars and after reading the reviews about Don and his professionalism and service, I selected him. I was not disappointed. Don was very responsive to my initial questions and was very client focused about accommodating my schedule for the inspection. He was very punctual, and professional. He was extremely thorough and informative as we went through the condo. He had various measuring tools to use to objectify the findings he was concerned about (laser thermometer, humidity reader, etc. I would highly recommend Don and his company if you need any type of home/condo inspection.
