Gitano Roofing

When looking for a company to reshingle the roof for us, we tried the usual: word of mouth (friends and acquaintances who did it recently and had only good things to say about the company that did the job) and positive reviews and ratings (including the web). In hindsight, we should have settled on Gitano Roofing much sooner as they were the only ones who were consistently rated excellent in both channels. Instead, we narrowed the choice to a few final candidates and asked for quotes. At the end the only serious counter-candidate to Gitano came with the quote about 20% higher for the same scope and quality (we wanted premium materials, such as shingles and valleys, and a few extras like solar powered attic vent installed). We settled on Gitano Roofing. And we certainly were not disappointed, quite to the contrary! The job was done exactly as advertised, completely painlessly from the customer's point of view. The work was done in one day, with very minor fixes (and I mean very minor) done the following day after they were requested by us. The way the job was done there was precious little to clean up, still the clean-up was "clinical". We were very pleased. It has been 4 months since re-shingling and, while some houses around us have been loosing shingles in seriously windy weather this autumn and winter, we still ARE very pleased. It certainly looks like Gitano Roofing is the "go-to" roofer.
