This is a company that does superb work, using fine materials (cabinets are made in their factory), and employing first-class installers and tradespeople.
In the end, we received a kitchen that met our needs and reflected our lifestyle.
Kemi was the brains behind the renovation of our 30-year-old kitchen. Two months before the physical work started, she came to our home to examine our existing kitchen and to take measurements; she listened to our ideas, adding thoughts of her own. Then we went to The Kitchen Studio and discussed layouts, designs, and materials. Kemi again came to our kitchen to outline the plans and to double-check measurements. She continued to provide ideas and to ask for our opinion as she created the detailed plans.
Once we finalized the contract, we set a start date.
In the 5 1/2 week period from tear-out to completion of finishing touches, there was progress every day and perfect coordination of tradespeople. Every person associated with the job was professional, courteous, and friendly. They showed great respect for our home and tidied up at the end of each day.
Throughout this period, Kemi visited our home several times to check up on the progress of the job. Every tradesperson showed respect for her authority and had positive comments about her expertise. If we had a question or concern, Kemi would listen and respond appropriately.
We would highly recommend The Kitchen Studio for a kitchen or bathroom renovation.

Thanks to The Kitchen Studio for making our dream kitchen a reality. Special thanks to our designer Michelle whose design and execution was second to none. She was able to take away all my worry and concern from start to finish. Michelle really is a PRO and made our experience with The Kitchen Studio a positive one.

Although we didn't have a large budget to work with, the Kitchen Studio designed and made a very functional kitchen for us, one we enjoy daily! We are very happy with the service we received from the entire team, designers, project management, management, and the installation team. They were knowledgeable, punctual, courteous, clean and friendly and did a terrific job for us, on time and on budget. We would definitely recommend them. A special thank you to Kemi and Willem Jn.

Kitchen Studio has a beautiful showroom with many dream kitchens on display. Excellent kitchen company led by Project Manager, Willem Jr. Worked closely with designer Kemi who is superb in kitchen design and follow-through and exceptional in addressing all of my many questions! Adam, kitchen installer, posesses excellent skills and attitude. His attention to detail is second to none. Quality Material. Quality Work. Beautiful, well made, well designed kitchen. Love it! Would highly recommend Kitchen Studio to anyone looking for a quality kitchen renovation.

The only reason I am giving them a 1 is that Adam the installer was professional and Our experience with Prostone (the granite company) was really good. Other then the hiccup's with scheduling. The rest of the experience was a complete and total nightmare! Our saleman Warren had to come in and do the back splash for our kitchen because he felt bad for us. The total lack of coordination within the company was astounding.

During our initial telephone inquiries, consultations, the price quotation and the coordination of the installation process, the service provided to us by the staff and management of The Kitchen Studio was "Excellent".

We are very pleased with the quality of service and professionalism provided by all of the installers - most notably Mr. Adam Mathewson. We were greatly impressed by the members of Prostone and Richard's Tile and Marble who also worked on the project.

Special thanks to Michelle for her assistance. On many occasions she passed along information, answered questions and always got back to us in a timely fashion.

But we are most thankful for the professionalism, creativity, courtesy, diligence and patience of Ms. Kemi Sijuwade. The Kitchen Studio is most fortunate to her on their team.

We had the Kitchen Studio totally renovate our kitchen two years ago. The quality of their workmanship was outstanding and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. It all started with meeting Kemi who is one of the designers. She was friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable right from the start. Kemi came out to my house and listened to my ideas, then offered her feedback and ideas I had never thought to consider. I met with her again at the Kitchen Studio and together we went over the designs she had prepared. Once final changes were made, Willem, the contractor took over the project. Willem and his crew always arrived when expected, were respectful of our home and did a great job. There were two occasions when they came across some unexpected problems but it didn’t even faze Willem. In one instance while removing a portion of bulk head, there was a heat pipe that we didn’t expect to find. My initial reaction was panic, yet Willem assured me that there was no problem, only a solution, and sure enough he found it. A last minute alteration to the plan was made and the changes incorporated into the design looked amazing. I am still enjoying my kitchen and I never hesitate to tell people to make sure they go to the Kitchen studio before hiring anyone else. I guarantee you’ll find great quality, awesome service and friendly, knowledgeable people.

Horrible Service, Stay away

Met the sales rep at the fall homeshow. He was knowledgeable and professional so we decided to go ahead with them. Just before Christmas our sales rep decided to leave the company and the outstanding issues with the kitchen was to be taken over by their head designer Kemi. That’s when everything went downhill. I emailed Kemi some of the outstanding issues and asked when they would come back and fix them. After 3 weeks of emailing her and calling her she finally replied. After finally getting a hold and back and forth emails to confirm the outstanding items we settled on a date 2 weeks after to finalize our kitchen first thing in the morning. On the agreed upon Monday no one showed up at the agreed upon time. I called Kemi and she immediately called back and said they would be there around noon. The installers end up showing up at 1pm. When the installers arrive they don’t have the parts required to finish the job. In fact they are not aware of what needs to be done. They call the shop manager and they don’t know what’s going on. I in turn call Kemi multiple times. She does not pick up or call me back. I email her multiple times and still no reply. The next day I get a call back from their other staff member to clarify what needs to be done. I ask for Kemi and she is conveniently not available. I then ask to talk to the manager Willem Jr who then says he will be on top of things and everything will be completed on the following Thursday first thing in the morning.
So I have to take another day off. Thursday rolls around and this time the technician shows up on time. But again they show up without the proper components to finish the job. After multiple calls with the shop manager and re-measurements they figure out nothing can be done again and they would have to return again! After missing 2 days of work, the manager Willem Jr. reassures me that they will return that weekend to complete the job. Sunday rolls around and no one shows up. I call and leave messages and email them a few times and still no reply. Monday rolls around and I receive nasty email from their manager. I was told to get my facts right. Apparently their installing was knocking on the door since early morning and even left a note and even called him a few times to ask him what to do. Upon further investigation, we found out that he was knocking on the wrong door!! I mailed Willem Jr back and asked him for an explanation for all the issues we have been experiencing with his company. Questions such as why didn’t his technician call us? If his tech called him multiple times, how come he didn’t call us?
Instead I receive another nasty email telling me that he’s losing a lot of money on this job and he’s wasting a lot of time on emailing me back and asking if Ï want a public flogging?
What kind of customer service is this? Not even an apology, instead he’s trying to make it sound as if it’s our fault!
Long story short they come back the following Sunday to complete the job. This time they bring the proper equipment to complete the job. Then the technician tells they won’t start the job unless I pay them first! I talked to Willem Jr and he said that if I don’t give him the money first he’s going to tell his technician to leave!
At the end of the day my wife and I were just tired of their service and wanted to get the job done with. I would highly NOT recommend them to anyone. A complete lack of customer service received. It takes days and sometimes weeks to get a response from them. Their manager Willem Jr likes to scold their customers and threaten them with leaving the job unless we pay before the work is done. Not even an apology for the hell we went through.

The Company: very receptive, quick to respond to suggestion or problems, and helpful.
Cabinets: excellent !!! very happy with the product and installation.
Other: very unhappy with work done on walls, painting. Would suggest going elsewhere for this work.
