I purchased 4 chairs that are made in Norway and then imported to Canada. I was asked to pay in full before the order was sent. I was told this would take 10 weeks, which certainly seems like more than enough time to make and ship 4 chairs. I finally received them almost 20 weeks later, and even then one was missing the rubber stopper on the bottom, meaning the chair wobbled. The delivery men took the chair back so a stopper that fit could be found. Over the extra 10 weeks of waiting for these chairs, so it was over 4 months before I got them, I was never called, there was never any sort of apology, no offer of a discount for having my money for over 4 months with nothing to show for it. When I occasionally called to find out where they were, when they could be expected, the owner was both dismissive and condescending and acted like I was some gnat that he needed to shoo away. Even when the chair was taken away because the stopper was missing, I expected to get it back the next business day, but 5 days later I haven't had as much as a call or email to apologize, to tell me when this chair will be brought back. Absolutely nothing. I feel completely disrespected and I will never, never shop there again. I had spent another $1700 there a couple of weeks before this happened, and it's really too bad. I don't know what you have to spend before you're considered important enough to be considerate to. Maybe it never matters.
