Hired Derrick and Gecko Garage Builders based on a referral from a family member and was not disappointed. The garage was up in a day, and finished quickly afterwards (and built well!). The crew was friendly and worked around our schedule.
Would definitely recommend to anybody wanting a quick, clean and extremely well done garage build.

Derrick and his crews are awesome people and their work is like stunning! Even my neighbors who watched their work were surprised as they built my garage really quick and nice.
As many people know, it is difficult to find a reliable people all the time. Gecko is not only professional but also reliable. I personally don't like people who does not clean and organize a work area when they work. The way they did was super satisfied and I would recommend these guys for everyone.

Derrick and his team were fantastic to work with from the start to finish. Not easy to find a contractor who is honest, fair value, does great work, and is reliable. We were impressed with the quality of the garage build, and his ability to accommodate our specific requirements. Ended up building a insulated and drywalled oversize garage. Derrick's team had experience installing James Hardie siding, and in areas where he contracted out work he had relationships with quality trades. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Derrick and his team.

Hands down the best experience that I've had to date with any contract for any project. Derrick's team was extremely professional, tidy and always on time. I've never built anything to this scale before and they were extremely patience with me during the entire process, from supplying me with 20 different quotes to making last minute additions.

Derrick and his team did an excellent job building my garage. Derrick was very diligent about keeping me informed, and was quick to respond to any concerns that arose (only one minor one). I was very impressed by the reliability, timeliness, sticking to the quote, and quality of workmanship. I would highly recommend Gecko Projects for a new garage build.

After calling 4 different companies for quotes found Gecko and figured I’d call for one more quote...... thankfully I did!! Derricks quote was $10000 under all others! Talked with Derrick about what I wanted and in the end spent about $5000 more than the other quotes but had three times the garage and also had the house resided to match the garage!! The work they have done is second to none and they were extremely fast!! After the pad had set the garage was up sided and roofed in 2 days and that includes removing and residing the house!! Unbelievable! Derrick and his crew were a well oiled machine, everyone knew their job and everyone was friendly and polite. Couldn’t be happier. By far the best construction crew I have seen!! Exceeded my expectations. Derrick and his guys just finished our 28' x 24' detached garage. The whole process from start to finish was easy, everything was right on schedule and Derrick was in contact with us for every step. They also took on relocating our electrical service from the house to the new garage, then an underground feed back to the house. This went without a hitch and has got rid of the unsightly wires that used to hang over our back yard. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who wants a garage built in Calgary.

Derrick and the staff of Gecko Projects were great to deal with and I am very happy with the new garage they built for me. Communication from first contact to project closeout was timely, clear and concise. Their process was extremely streamlined and left no questions unanswered.

Most importantly, they were on site when they said they would be and completed the project on time, a rare thing in contracting.
