We bought our kitchen appliances here last summer. I was devating on a two oven stove or a stove with a mucrowave convection. So decided to go with micro/covection to mske it easier on my back. Microwave does not hold temp OF a convectionas stated in booklet as well. Peter has validated this but thats it . NOthing being done. I WAITED 30 YEARS FOR THIS KITCHEN. Will not be returning and will spread the word of my experience. If you dont have any priblems you will see 5 star reviews but if thete is a problem, watch out, very rude and dont treat customers like they should .

Looking for a simple evaporator fan blade for a GE fridge, parts department closed early on Friday and aparently no one else within the company could look to see if they had the part in stock. Was told to come back Saturday morning as the parts department would be open till noon, showed up at 9:45 and was told the girls who works the parts department is always off on Saturdays....What??....Their website even states it's open on Saturdays!!..Was told to call back on Monday so the parts department could look to see if it was in stock or had to be ordered...COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!....Will not attempt to do business with them again..

I was referred to Peter Martin based on a recommendation from my girlfriend's parents. Considering I am a full-time student and money really is an issue I have to deal with everyday, I went with Peter Martin because I heard they have great service. Unfortunately, the only good experience was during the purchase, but after that the service was terrible. The lady on the phone made it seem as though asking for them to put my house on the bottom of their repair route (the days they had available - I have school and oral surgery in the morning) was the biggest favour imaginable. Not to mention, when I called her out, she begins to lecture me about company policy. The repair man that comes to my home, instead of taking time to look at the Fridge and Freezer, expected my compliance with his decision that nothing was wrong. Instead, for a Fridge not providing correct temp on recommended settings suggest I should crank it up to the coldest levels. I asked for the manager, but apparently the manager was not available so I was told they would give me a call back, nothing.... I am left feeling like a fool, and angry. Considering I was not yelling at him, but simply disagreeing and defending my position, he provided a bunch of excuses and then walks away. I hope you consider my story when buying an appliance.

UPDATE: The owner calls me and was very very difficult man to talk to. Wanted to give him my story but was accused of trying to slam his staff. He would not let me talk and gave me two options listen to him or he refunds me the money - simply put, to shut me up. Terrible experience with this company, do not buy.

In the past 3 years I have replace all of my household appliances with new ones from Peter Martin. I will not deal with anyone else. They are competitively priced, knowledgeable and best of all, service what they sell.
Many years ago I bought a fridge & dishwasher from a big box store. Then dealt with 800 numbers, promises of return calls and long waits on repairmen. I have had repairmen show up with wrong part and waited months for replacements only to have the same part fail again. I learned the hard way.
With Peter Martin, they are up front and honest about the strengths and shortcomings of each appliance before you buy. This helped me make better decisions. When I have needed parts (fridge filters, new stove griddle), they have been fast, and cheaper than the online price. When I have needed service, it has been quick and efficient. They have sent well trained, capable, polite repair people...on time!
This is old fashioned service, at a competitive price. Your business has value here. With a box store, you are nobody!

I have heard good things about Peter martin appliance so when my gas stove/oven needed fixing I gave them a call. My oven was taking forever to heat up and even then not reaching full temperature. Their service tech was on time and friendly. He explained that it was the 'timer'. In these models the old 'screw in' fuzes are gone. Instead of replacing the 2 dollar fuze you replace the 600 dollar timer! The problem is they no longer make the timers! So now you're replacing the entire stove for what should have been a 2 dollar fuze! Thanks Jenn Air! Anyway the tech from peter martin said he could get me a good buy on a good used one (since I didn't really have the dough for a new one) but I never heard back fro him. I think maybe he screened me as a difficult customer. Maybe he thought my anger at Jennair was directed at him . To be fair I could have followed up more than I have. While I still have the same half busted oven/stove I continue thinking well of Peter Martin appliances. My experience is likely a fluke.

Just purchased new appliances for a new kitchen reno. Mike was very knowledgeable and professional. We had faith in Peter Martin's however shopped around first looking at other products and by far they gave us the best pricing and product for our needs.

We purchased a new Bosch dishwasher from Peter Martin about two years ago and had it installed by them. They were great. A couple of months ago the dishwasher was not draining properly and we called them for service. The serviceman they sent out was kind and went the extra mile not just unclogging the pipes but investigating why the pipes had clogged and fixing the issue so that they would not clog again in two years. I was very happy to know that their service people don't just come fix it but to solve the root of the problem.

I have had my fridge which I purchased from Peter Martin's Scratch "n" Dent. From the beginning I had issues with this fridge leaking but it being a scratch and dent there was no warranty. I called for a technician to come and repair it. A man came and said there was nothing wrong and that the pan that catches the condensation had shifted out of place. He left without correcting the problem. I assumed he was correct and when it leaked I would just clean it up and assumed it was normal. The problem persisted over the next couple of years. Recently I had new flooring installed and when the issue persisted I was pressured by friends to have it looked at again. I called Peter Martin's again and they sent a technician over, this time an older more experienced technician. He new the problem right away but refused to move the fridge forward himself as he was afraid to damage the floor as he didn't bring wheels with him. I had to arrange for my mother to be at the house a third time in order to have the technician back as I work straight days and can't be there during working hours. He finally came and repaired the problem. I had to pay twice for a technician to come out as I believed the first technician and waited so long to call again and was forced to find someone to let the tech in on 3 occasions. Not to mention that I had to purchase sliders to place under the fridge in order to move it forward to be worked on.

Peter Martin not only sell high quality appliances at a great price. The company service what they sell. With speedy cost effective repairs and advice.
We have purchase a washer , and dryers as well as two Dishwasher from them. Don't waste your time and money at the big box stores. Their prices are in many case cheaper and the service is 100%

My wife is very picky when it comes to appliances. She wanted a specific type of handle on the appliances that was the same for the microwave, stove, and refrigerator. There were also many other stipulations. They also needed to be within our price budget. The staff at Peter Martin Home Appliance Centre Ltd. were terrific. They showed us a few options based on my wife's long list of requirements. The staff were patient and ensured that all of our requirements were met. Best of all it was all within our price range!
