We called Ontario Custom Glass, they were available immediately to speak with us about our shower. Gave good advise. Attended our home immediately and we are very pleased. We would recommend Ontario Custom Glass. and they cleaned up too

Working with this company has been very disappointing and stressful. The product is damaged/chipped in several places and was not installed properly. Because the job is incomplete (e.g. pieces, including screws are missing) the glass poses a safety hazard. I've hired another company to complete/fix the job despite having paid in full for the original work, as this company is unresponsive to calls and emails.

Mark, the owner, insisted that we pay before he completed the work. I realize that this was a huge mistake on my part, but he is a bully and insisted that the job was 97% complete, which in the (very) small print of the contract requires full payment. He was generally very difficult to deal with (e.g. rude, unresponsive, didn't show up on several occasions, raised his voice when questioned, left a huge mess). They also damaged our floors and walls. In addition to smashing the drywall, they also drilled an extra 1/2 inch hole in the wrong spot behind the glass (inaccessible for repair) and left it unfilled.

I've worked with three other contractors this year and they have been great. This was is the sad exception.

Mark and Jane provide excellent service and craftsmanship. They were point with the agreed timeline. I will definitely be using there services again. Thank you.

here is a company i would avoid.
Glass shower installed
glass door rubs against the stone threshold
plus the glass door does not close because the it sags to one side and therefore hits the side wall.
At the moment there is a gap between the door and side wall at the top of the door....no gap at all in the middle (in fact it overlaps the wall) and there is a gap at the bottom side of the door.

Obviously something is seriously wrong.

this company came to adjust this glass three times....3 times

same problem.

This has taken place over a 60 day period of time.

i am having another company come to rip out this glass shower and install one that actually is measured correctly and works.

save yourself any headaches and find another glass company.

Mark and his wife provided us with excellent service. Mark kept in touch re timing and came exactly on time. They did a professional job and left the job site only after cleaning up. The work looks great and we felt they charged a fair price for the work done and the product provided.

Mark is the absolute WORST contractor I have EVER used. I cannot stress how unprofessional this man is – he takes no pride in his work. He is not neat in his work, avoids calls, and was not truthful on several occasions regarding coming back to complete unfinished work and did not !! After contacting several contractors for quotes, I hired him on to do the wood stairs and glass railings because he mentioned there was a 50% of sale. In the end, he turned out to be the most expensive!!!

After I put down the initial 25%, he said the quote he gave was based on ½ inch glass where the permit required 5/8 inch glass – the price doubled!! It took him over a year to do the work and in fact he still hasn’t finished installing parts of the railing and the sanding and there are certain aspects of the quality that I am not happy with. I have tried to get him to finish the work but I have completely given up because at this stage I am tired of chasing him and the difference is not worth the money in Small Claims Court.

He acts as if he’s doing you a favor when he’s doing the work even though he’s being paid to do it! He was ALWAYS late except when it came to picking up a cheque. He always rushes the work and is in a hurry to leave and come back rather than do the work properly.

He would constantly ignore my calls so I had to call him from my friends and family’s phones just so he would pick up. It has been an absolute horror to deal with this man… Look him up on the Better Business Bureau I wish I did …………DO NOT USE THIS MAN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!

Very unhappy. Extremely unprofessional, arrived with product with no means of (dolly) of transporting it into the condo. Wrong handle for door. Damaged ceiling and denied it, damaged caesar stone shelf, door has chip in it. Did go back to get handle, wanted out fast. Very disappointed.

Exceeded our expectations, delivered ahead of schedule and great customer service. Made suggestions on door placement and cleaned up the job. Had a good variety of hardware, keep us informed on progress!
